Wouldn't this be a better update/patch pattern?

The system for STO tribble seems like one big series of patches after another, wouldn't it be easier to release patches individually as soon as you complete them? That way if one horribly breaks something it can get rolled back without rolling back other updates. Or if one part of the patch fixes something and the other patch breaks it you wouldn't know right away. Sometimes fixes will coincidentally fix things and if the previous example happens you wouldn't know and would still have to dig for hours for a solution.
