Where do you get Contraband?

Where do you get this? I have never seen it for my Federation toon, or my Klingon toon.

If you are going to make this needed for mission there should be a way to get some, Maybe from a Ferengi?

I've been trying to get this for the last 2 week.... Anybody have any ideas?

Doff missions, afair its either military or development, but i am not sure.

I got 2 so far.. 1 more and i can do the mission where i return them.. :

I got 5 from a crit success on an Inspect Civilian Freighter in Sirius. it's a 30 minute mission and is rare. Needs two Security doffs iirc.

Try joining doffjobs channel, they try to keep track of missions and where they pop up.

Inspect freighters mission and there is also a diplomatic mission "investigate/review reports of trafficing contraband" that is a 1 day mission and gives 1 contraband for a success

Don't return them... instead use them to craft the the satellite turrets they are a required componet. Those turrets probably don't do a lot of damage but they sure are fun to deploy.
