Issues I have with F2P Tribble so far.

Issue 1: KDF Eposide progression.

When I leveled a Klingon from 17 (at the time) to 51, The Eposide progression was not very linier. Meaning that while you could go from the first eposide chain to the second, but not at the same smooth pace as can be done on the Federation side. And then I noticed one Big issue, is that the entire Borg Segment is not playable until AFTER Level 51. That's alot of "Exp" that could be earned and yet can't be played until Lt General 1. Personally, I feel that should be RA 1 insteaed. Or maybe RA 5.

Issue 2: Dilithium Caps.

The Dilithium Caps are too low, from where I am looking at it. 8,000 a day? I mean sure that means you can force it to take 15 Days of Dilithium Grinding to buy a ship that costs 120,000 Refined Dilithium. But then you have to look at the costs of Weapons and Gear. Even some of the WHITE Bridge officers cost Refined Dilithium, when they originally cost Energy Credits. During the time when you couldn't train Bridge officers, that was a huge issue on the Klingon side since they also were not earning bridge officers. Personally, if your going to make SOO much of the game, with now Crafting being given about 50% of their lists a Refined Dilithium cost, then you should Raise the amount of Dilithium that can be refined from 8,000 to perhaps double 16,000.

Issue 3: Forced Eposide progression.

I dislike that you have to start at the Klingon Front, and you can't even access not only the Romulan Front, but any of the other parts of the Chain until you finish the first chain. Personally, each chain should be unlockable at each Tier of Game play. And the Gear should also level up with the mission at the level of the captian taking the mission, with exceptions of course (the Impulse engine that gives +5 to all power settings for example)

Issue 4: All C-store ships and VA token removal.

Now while I do like some of the C-store ships, I dislike that the move has gone from trying to make the ships balanced with their same tier counter parts, and are now just blaitantly more powerful then their same tier counterparts. It tells me so far, that the game balance is being changed from where the game originally started, and is going to something that some might even called Pay to Win. Which I'm not sure if I am comfortable with. Not to mention that the VA ships are now ALL C-store Exclusive. Where before you could at least unlock one ship with a VA token. And the VA ships are also all being basically considered as well +1 ships.

Issue 5: Pay to Test

I personally hate the Idea of having to spend money on live, just to test C-store features on tribble. I feel there should have been an NPC located on ESD and Quonos that you could go to say.. Once every Day or even Once a Week that would grant you Crytic Points instead so that you could then use those points to test features. I mean if it works in DDO's test shard, it could work here, right? Provided you have the tech to do something like that of course.

Suggestion: Make C-store items cost Extreme amounts of Refined Dilithium to allow for In game aquireing in addition to Refined Dilithium Trading.

What I mean is, that while the C-store ships have their C-point cost, why not also the ability to buy the ships for a Dilithium cost. But that cost would be something Extreme. Say if one ship only costs 80,000 Dilithium, A C-store ship costs 800 C-store points, A C-store ship would also cost 800,000 Dilithium. Then you could choose between trying to trade your refined Dilithium for C-store points, or grind for those C-store ships instead. Giving you another way to get the ships. Sure C-store points would be the cheaper way to go. But if the prices on the C-store Exchange start to inflate, at least that would give some one a way to get those ships with out worrying about Cryptic Point inflation if they choose not to.

That's all for now, until the Skill Refinement at least, discuss if you like.

I 100% with the Borg on KDF side. The KDF is already lacking content, so moving it down some would be a big help there.

I 100% the cap is too low. I imported my cpatin to Tribble, just to get a taste of what he would get for his stack of marks and emblems. over 200k Dilithium ore. Not refined, although I got plenty of that, but nearly 206k ore.

Does anyone at Cryptic consider how long it would take to refine all that? Nearly 26 days, and that is assuming I don't get more during that 26 days.

It's unaccpetable. I can use those emblems and marks now, I don't have to wait 26 days to spend them. But I will have to wait if I want to spend the dilitium....it's not right and it needs to be corrected. I can understand the limit for a silver player, but gold players should not have one. Not at all. If you consider that 8k is easy to get in a day and that you need far more than that to get the high end gear/ships....I can see many subbing just to get it lifted. I can also see me very miffed if I have months worth of ore to refine when this thing goes live.

I don't mind the forced episodes. Most of us have done them, and you can replay them if you have done them. New players probably should do them in order. I don't care if the main storyline doesn't allow you to skip around. I was under teh impression they were working to make each episode's gear level as you do, but that could be something I dreamed about and thought was coming true.

I have been very vocal about losing the VA token. I agree there. I don't care if more powerful ships are in the C-Store...except at the highest levels. PvP is something that still has to be considered, it's really all I do on live anymore since reaching max rank with my captains. If someone can go into the store and buy a ship that beats mine, even though I have put in the work to get the best gear and skills you can get...yeah, I have a problem with that. I don't mind someone being lazy and dropping cash to short-cut the work needed to get where I am, but to drop a 20 and just get better than I did...HUGE problem with that.

Pay to win is NOT something this game should have. Ever. You do the work or you pay and skip the work, fine, but paying for something that is superior to what I have and still getting to skip the work. No no no, and might I add NO!

I really don't know what this is about. Can you actually buy points on tribble? I mean, they are gone forever once this thing goes live...pointless. They should be giving out more points, or at least more often I agree there, but I think the idea here is to see how hard these things in game are to get WITHOUT the use of points.

I have to agree with this for the most part.

KDF is NEEDING content...one of my friend finally rolled a klikgon...his words to me was "okay how I level this?". Forced rails on the arcs...okay I dont mind them, but most people want the freedom to do-whatever.
Leveling (skill points) need to be turned down to either match the level gear or having that gear scale to a certin level band.

As to the money grab, greed needs to be checked. Yes I will abmit to the fact the game ecomony is not going as planed. DIL in crafting is wa to over the top, as of now I feel that players are bing punished. Granted gearing was super easy, but there sould be some check IE crafting gear=(mark 11 dil store gear).
That makes the check easier, PLUS it would ensure newer players an aesier time with grind.

As otthe VA tokens, I can see why ppl want them 140k grind IS still WAY to long...58 days? Really?
For what reason am I willing to grind that much for a ship, then turn around and re-grind for gear for that ship. Im telling you now that aint happening.

As to the dil conversion to C-Store points I do like that idea, granted the dil to c-store points would need to be a ratio for higher dil to c-store points, but that would help easy the feeling of the grind + raising the limit on refining. That would help ease the current issues, but like all things it takes time. AS of right now, the feeling of supply and demand is way out-of-sink.

I agree completely that each series should be unlocked at a certain level, not requiring you to complete the previous one.

    Nicely summed up!

Who wants to pay for a second job? Who wants to pay to NOT have fun?

I can only hope that the Development of the F2P Tribble does start to improve and we perhaps start to see a better vision of the future of the game then we do right now. Because so far, if the game comes out with the Economy that it is showing now, it will not be fun. Even at Max level grinding STFs for the new Set gear. (Which is a nice way to get Dilithium Ore, but the Limits on Refineing ore hurt a bit) :(
