Ok so i copied a character over the other day and then i did something to my holodeck account so i deleted my tribble character so i could copy him over again but now it will not let me why? i do not understand why you are only allowed to copy over one character period that seems kinda dumb doesnt it and there are other characters that i want to copy over like my science and tactical guys so i can test out some of the other things that my engineer cant do so if any one could help me that would be greatly appreciated
I did the same thing.... I copied my engineer over as I was yammering on my cell and BAM!! I realized what i was doing.. I thought 'No big. I'll deleted him and copy over my Science Captain over.' BUT it won't let me transfer my Science captain over... This really killed the testing for me.... I'd appreciate the help too!! THANKS!!!
exactly thats what i thought because you know olny one character at a time not one character EVER!!! and now i cant do the stfs and try to get the gear because i really want to try them out which is irritating
I did the same and tried to get help from support and they finally told me to come here to see if i could get fixed so i could move the correct character over to tribble. I now have no characters on tribble.
Well I'm playing on Tribble cuz any gameplay experience will help my FTP conversion on Holodeck. It just makes no sense on not assimilating to it before launch on Holodeck. BUT any hopes I had of bringing my Engineer over to start help my other captains with resources is just about done. I've had to raise one in tribble from scratch and he'll have to be my main for a while.. But from posts and podcasts I heard this was the best way to at least attempt to have the matter resolved.
On a personal side note. I find it humorous how Trill turn up at the most inopportune moments. I hadn't planned on a Joined Trill being my main on Tribble it just worked out that way. So because of this ONE TIME transfer incident I actually like Trill now..LOL

There is a 0% chance that your tribble character will ever be able to interact with you holodeck characters or account. So passing on materials was never going to happen. When F2P is ready, tribble will likely be wiped (it doesn't matter) and the code applied to holodeck.
I also made a mistake within 10 minutes of character copy - so I certainly understand the depressed feeling.. ^^ But at least I have more time away from STO now, for the last couple of weeks its really taken a lot of hours out of my time.

You have read any of the F2P posts to know that the incentive to test Tribble is that they will allow you to transfer your character to Holodeck prior to launch. Either way the idea is to be familiar with the new gameplay. It's actually more interesting that the current Holodeck version.
Certainly there will be Trolls complaining on launch day that they hate the new system play. Why? Because theydidn't take the time to play...LOL

Your tribble char will not be transferred to holodeck after testing. This has been asked and answered by devs many times already. See the post by Rehpic here http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?p=3816999#post3816999 where he says he can't imagine a situation where they would allow this
