When Jeremy walks in please give him a cape. Because he is gonna need super powers to fix the crafting "system" we currently have.

Would be a nice first challenge for him as a systems designer anyway =P

He's gonna be a Goz-Gopher first along....

They won't let him touch the game for a while yet.

Jeremy will be working with me, actually. We have a number of things already planned to give him the opportunity to learn the systems from the inside.

yup he definitely joined the dark side tbh...

STOked were all too happy to blow smoke up the devs behinds when things were going good, but im not too sure they want to rock the boat and pop a salvo over the nose of U.S.S. Cryptic when things are not going so well, they have become to cosey and juiced in with the devs now to have carry any real weight with me, they stopped being objective when they were hypnotized by all the shiney shiney Cryptic showed them lol.

Well the new STOked is going to be a little more critical of the stuff cryptic is doing wrong but we will also give the kudos on the stuff they do right. So watch the new episodes that come out and join the live stream to have your opinions heard. :)

You are right, but they were not journalists either, they came off as cheerleaders.

    My bad...

So he's gonna be a Heretic Henchman instead...

..."and just what do You take in your coffee Sir?" <snicker>

Can we call him JER-ETIC...? <chuckle>

Perhaps not complicated... But it is 'documented' horribly!

With Jeremy already working at Cryptic by the beginning of October, this would not have happened (the crafting announcement blog).

    ROTFL ...

ummm... I don't know about how it works in your world, but in my world...

...a new employee doesn't get much (if any) say in the way things work.

Actually, the only thing JER-ETIC is probably running at this point... is the copy machine. ;)

Which shocked me cause for a long long time I thought it was. I like the show and the information it puts out, but was always suspicious of how... "forgiving" they were to Cryptic. Kind of like how ET will always get the exclusives with the stars cause they will never bad mouth them.

    Jeremy will be missed however.

    Only on the show...

Hopefully Soon, His presence as JER-ETIC, will be felt and seen throughout the game.

Could have fooled me. The way they praised just about everything Cryptic has done since BETA, i assumed they were a P.R. firm employed by Cryptic.

I don't think Jeremy and Chris ever did anything to hide the fact that they are STO fanbois.

But, anyways, thanks for the insight, League of Obvious Captains.

If STOked had been so critical and bashing towards the game like you guys seemingly wanted them to, then The show would have not been worth watching. We get plenty of that on these forums. It was nice to see a couple of guys once a week who still had some enthusiasm for the game.

I just liked the way they bounced off of each other.

    (verbally not physically)

I remember Ron Jeremy. He was in Boondock Saints.

By the way, I wish J-man (the one from STOked) all the best of luck. After seeing STOked's round table preview I miss him all the more already. That said, I too would have jumped on such a job offer instantly. I bet he will manage to sneak his fungus missions from the foundry into the game as a full blown mission series.

    Would be awesome.

Why couldn't they actually just like and enjoy the game? I know if there is something I like I'd act the same way.

Yes, I also like and enjoy the game and I am enjoying the F2P beta enough that I am not bothering with the live server at all. I haven't played WoW since Jan or LotRO since last year sometime. When I have game time I pick STO. I do watch STOked but rarely live. I saw them as excited "geeks" and not cheerleaders.

I know they annoy my wife though, so their style is not for everyone. I'm not here to say your opinion doesn't matter just to say watch them in a different light. I don't think their style has to mean they were the propaganda arm for Cryptic (even if Cryptic uses them as such).
