Summary: This is a great mission. Your writing of the story dialog is outstanding and very detailed. The dialog with its twists and turns served to draw me into the story and keep me interested. The map designs are great and the effects on each are very well done. As for the battles, they are tough but as I indicated throughout the write up below, not impossible to beat. I would highly recommend this mission to anyone who loves the combination of a great story, excellent map design and challenging battles. I also liked the creative way you added skip dialog buttons.
Below I refer to one of the bridge officer referring to my character by first name. I suspect your desire here was to do something similar to the way Spock or McCoy used to refer to Kirk as "Jim". If that is your goal here then I understand that. However you should consider changing it to something more military sounding. The senior bridge officers might refer to the Captain by the first name in private but never while in a position of authority such as the bridge.
Below some things I noted while playing the mission that I wanted to let you know about. Everything in this write up should be seen as suggestions on ways I felt you could improve certain elements of the mission. They are yours to do with as you see fit.
Mission Description: Very nice intriguing description that draws me in right away. The update on your fixes is also a good thing. I've played missions that I get stuck or can't complete. Posting the fact it is fixed helps players who may only read the feedback that someone who got stuck posted when they had to drop the mission. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog.
Grant Mission Dialog: The dialog is very detailed and extremely well written. It makes me just want to click that "Accept" button. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog.
Mission Task: The initial task is a good straight forward task. The second task is good however you should consider adding the sector block just to be safe. I noted no spelling errors with either task.
Mission Entry Prompt: Nice straight forward prompt. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog.
MAPS:
Earth Space Dock (Cryptic) : I wont be giving you credit for the nice map design,
-Post "...that is strange" Commander Tafeng dialog; consider changing "overseeing the instillation of her" to read "overseeing the installation of her".
Vega Space: The story dialog is very well written and the map design is really well done. The battle was a good balanced fight. I like how you covered the Foundry issue of making "interact" objects disappear with a very plausible explanation. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog or any issues with the map.
Outside the Vega System: The map is very well designed and the dialog is very well written. The battle was a good balanced fight and I like the effect you used to bring the bad guy out of the wreckage. I noted no issues with the map however I noted a couple of items to consider changing:
-Post Borg Sphere debris scan dialog; consider changing "I could mean a great" to read "it could mean a great".
-Post scan Khitomer dialog; consider changing "but lifesupport is functioning" to read "but life support is functioning".
-Consider changing "was reinforced the as if to" to read "was reinforced as if to".
Khitomer Engineering Deck: This is great story dialog. The map design is great. The battles are tough but not impossible to win with good tactics. I noted no issues with the map however I noted a couple of items to consider changing:
-Mercedes McMary dialog; consider changing "in Engineering with be shot" to read "in Engineering will be shot".
-Post disable transmitter dialog; my bridge officer refers to me by my first name. Consider changing that to "Captain" or something more military.
Deck Five: This is a great map design and the effects and triggers worked quite well. The dialog is also very well done. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog or any issues with the map.
Khitomer Bridge: This is an excellent map design. The battle is tough and well put together. The story dialog is really well written. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog or any issues with the map.
Outside the Vega System Revisited: The map design was excellent and the story dialog was outstanding. The battles are tough but not impossible to beat. I noted no spelling or grammatical errors with this dialog or any issues with the map. I noted only one item to consider changing:
-Post Khitomer escape dialog; my bridge officer refers to me by my first name. Consider changing that to "Captain" or something more military.
