Tribble is still down for maintenance. Did someone put poison in the grain?
Where is the beef?
Thank you,
PS Some of us take testing serious...:)
I believe there was an issue with today's patch release and they are attempting to resolve the issue.
Something about an issue with the conversion of merits/honor to dilithium wiping out existing totals of dilithium instead of adding to the total.
The silver lining is that they get to test their disaster recovery plan so we should have a pretty good idea of how long Holodeck would be down if they ever had to do the same thing again...
I hear ya though; I'm really eager to get back in there to see how many Doff assignments completed...
I wonder why they don't just rollback. But ofc you'd need a snapshot. Seems they don't have a snapshot and are trying to sort through thousands of individual accounts to revert the changes.

Correct. The shard was up briefly after the first maintenance, but taken down again within about 20 mins or so due to Dilithium disappearing from peoples assets tab. Apparently what happened is that when the system converted your current merit/honer to Dilithium, instead of adding to what you HAD, it overwrote it instead. So instead of having 200 Dilithium added to my total of 10,000 Dilithium (10,200) I ended up with just 200 Dilithium.
Salami has stated that this has been fixed and that they even managed to revert the changes so that you would have the proper amount of Dilithium when you log back in (roughly around 7:30pm-ish Pacific Time).

Yes. That's a good metaphor in this case.
But it's quadrotriticale, not just any old grain.
IMO.
