    Why do you feel it is your place to yell at some one who is greatful for something. If someone wants to say thank you, let them. I am saying thank you to the devs for listening to our feedback.

    If you don't want to express gratitude thats fine, but don't come down on thoes of us who do.

    I am fairly sure 95% that on tribble there will be absolutely no free ship tokens. they want the Economy to be starved for Dilithium, read this post for why I feel that is the case.

    :D Okay guys, your going overboard with this. Instead of being happy with the direction the Devs took obtaining your ship per rank. Some of you decided to complain about the ONE little thing we did not get. A stupid free ship token at VA. I mean, it may matter to some of you. Sheesh. But I am guessing the majority of you just pick up that last ship, just to have it! I know I am a big player of this game. I already have all of the VA C-store ships unlocked on my account. So it really doesn't matter to me, but I would like to point out what my actual problem with the method they had to obtain your ship before.

    I really was not looking forward to grinding to get my rank, AND THEN, grinding out some dilithuim just to get the ship OF that rank.

    Now, you recieve a ship PER RANK, just like before. EXCEPT the endgame ships. For this, I am totally satisfied! If I have to grind for a ship. Let it be an endgame one. It will make the ships we have now, and recieve in the future, more unique. I rather pay for a ship (that I don't need) to level progress. Then to gring 10 days for one that I do.

    As for the weapons, yeah they are high, but to me, that makes them Very Rare! I hate to say it, but it is WAY too easy to totally outfit your ship with all the best gear in the game. I have 5 VA's, 4 Fed, 1 Klink. AND all of them got the best gear. And I gotta tell you, it was not hard to get. As a matter of fact, I have Purple gear on my Lt. Commander Ship, my Commander ship, and my Captain Ship from back whe I was ranking just sitting there! I just didn't want to delete BECAUSE it was Very Rare. Seemed like a waste to sell it, but I will never use it again and it was not very hard to get in the first place to tell you the truth. As a matter of fact, I am going to go sell it now lol!

    We are just spoiled with the gear. If its Very Rare, It needs to be. It seems like if EVERYONE I see has a Mark XI, Very Rare, Shield, Armor, and Weapons, then they are not actually Very Rare are they?

    Let me ask you something. Name Just One Item in the game that is a Purple Very Rare Item, That is actually Very Rare?

    So harder to obtain ENDGAME stuff, I am all for that. Struggling to just get Commander or Captain Ship. Not a fan.

    The Bottom line of all of this is, We once again get a ship per rank, (except endgame) just as we should. I was thanking the dev's for this. And I personally think, you should thank them too. They do gotta make money you know.

    What I have noticed is that most people have no concept of beta or of a testing server. Usually this stuff is all done behind closed doors so people never see how broken some of the ideas tested really are.

    From doing private testing on other systems Cryptic is pretty good about listening to feedback and has been keeping the broken things to a minimum. Sometimes though you need a lot of data on something and the only way to get it is through actual people using it. So you put out something you know is broken but can metric the hell out of it and have people use it and find out where the actual problems are.

    I actually suspect that by the time this goes live they will have to tone down the dilithium rates and increase the prices of items from when they reduce them soon for tribble. The reason is that leveling is so quick right now we are burning through equipment at a truly insane rate and so we need insane resources to try and replace the equipment fast enough. When this goes live people will do more dailies and other missions just to level up and many problems we see now will go away.

    Mostly though I am happy that Cryptic is willing to take changes and change the game. The DOFF system, Dilithium as a single currency instead of all the marks/emblems, redoing space skills etc are all good ideas they just need a LOT more polishing before they go live. If you don't want to help with polishing then being on the test server is not the place for you.

    I agree with you to a point , yea the very rare stuff is too easy but haveing to do atleast 50 dailies for just one very rare personal weapon is a bit much too, and i am like you i have 7 toons on holodeck right now 6 of them are max level and i am purpled all the way out so it doesnt effect me all that much plus right now i have tons of emblems so those will be changed to tons of dilithium lol, but I beleave there is a much better medium here then what they got now,

    Yes and the best way to make money is to keep your customers happy and not try to TRIBBLE them over as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

    Commander_Prescott I agree as well. If I have to work at something really hard it better be for very rare items and it better be for the ship I plan to fly till I die in:) You are so correct, you can spend a week farming data samples and craft yourself purple everything for your ship.

    And its still all in beta, there are bound to be tweaks, updateds, adjustments to try and make it even more balanced.

    I am very grateful that the Devs hear, listen and adjust to our feedback.

    Fixed that for you. Because that is really what those ships are.

    Now while I don't like the Token for 1 Free Ship of that Catagory taken away, I can understand the reasoning for it since they are going to "Make" you pay for any ship that is considered a + ship as they call it.

    If you looked at the Path to F2P Dev Blog #10 you'd see the ships that are going to be C-store ships are all + ships. And any that don't quite fit the Bill of being a + ship is being given something extra. (Like the Excelsor and Nebula Tier 3)

    But hey, I'm not happy with it, but that doesn't mean I don't accept it as a compromise. Provided they are not too expensive.

    Edit: Now that I think about it abit though, they probobly could swap the Kar'fi for the Vor'quv on the C-store and it could make more sense.. since soo many people complain about the Vor'quv as being too powerful. :p

    I will not accept it period.
    They are in effect taking content out of the game and in so doing lowering the value of our subscriptions.
    And i refuse to just roll over nicely and take it up the butt.

    That's fine if you think that. I will use my Monthly Stipind to happily perma unlock ships for my account as they come out. Because that is the reason for being a gold member in my mind. It'll probobly take about.. 2-3 Months for the Lower tier ships and then 3-4 months for the higher tier ships, with the Dreadnoughts taking about 6 months worth. But that's fine. That means I'm not spending any more money on those ships and can wait. (note of course I have quite a few of those ships already unlocked.. including the dreadnoughts.. but eh..)

    They told us the consul prices were over looked during internal testing, and that they would revise these soon.
