AI Targeting

Anyone else noticing that BoP and other ships heavy torpedos are now targeting other NPC Allies? I just watched 3 romulan birds of prey blow each other up without me using any confuse abilities on them. I think the new AOE friendly fire code is somehow causing them to target each other, that or the torpedos got some of the new cloak seeking torp code meshed in.

I bugged it but wanted to see if anyone else is laughing at this.

... okay, so I wasn't the only one seeing this. Right, I noticed this several times with Romulan BoP's. I thought I was seeing things. Then it happened again. And one more time.

I've noticed it happening specifically with High Yield Plasma torpedoes in quests on the Klingon Front and the Romulan Front. Also, sometimes an enemy will fire a High Yield Plasma and it'll explode in their face. I'm not sure it does any real damage to them, but it's rather weird.

I remember fighting a group of Romulan ships. They all fired their Heavy Plasmas at me and the torpedoes kind of just hung out for a second before drifting to other targets of their own faction.

It probably has to do with the new code they've given the high-yield torps. They're supposed to seek out new enemy targets when the target they were tracking gets blown up or otherwise disappears. I'd say it's kind of buggy at the moment.
