BOFF's: the AI has been worse then ever they run off for NO reason they tend to shoot thru walls now or get stuck in doorways or Jump around like jumping beans when I stop. and they very rarely raise there crew mates now, I know these are all know issues But I have nvr seen it this Bad before
DOFF's: Some of my Doff Don't show up to be selectable even when it says any officer AND YES they are free not on any mission and have the treats for that mission or are even the right class they just don't show up to be selectable
there's no way to tell when Selecting A doff for a mission if they are Very Rare, Rare,Uncommon, or Common, You can't go by color coding because there are very rare, rare, uncommon for each color
I personally would like to see Doff stick to the Color coding we already use every where else in the game or at least put in () right after there name if they are Rare or Uncommon ect .
2)Graphics and the Escort
Some of the New graphics are cool but not very Escort friendly like the new AP beam effect or when multiple borg Beam are hitting you kind of hard to see which way you facing and for Escorts it's all about the Forward Firing Arc.
3)Map Transfers
sin the last change for the Ship rebate token Map Transfer to ESD are taking a looooooong time to load.
I have noticed that the BOff AI has taken a bit of a hit. Another example, in addition to what you mentioned, is that, let's say I just get out of a round of combat. I go to holster my weapon. The BOffs will also put theirs away, but they stay in a combat ready stance. It's kinda annoying.
It's also annoying that, yes, they do seem to revive fallen allies less frequently than they did before.
Yeah, my BOFF pathing has gone terribly awry too. They also don't jump to their deaths in the fire caves but I have to constantly go back and get them when they get trapped in an open doorway.
Things happen but this should probably get looked at pretty soon as it is a major issue for ground combat.
Color is quality. Rarity is irrelevant to success chance, and will be hidden in forthcoming builds to minimize confusion.
If that's the solution, does that mean the DOff packs will be revised to provide X Whites, 2 Green or better and one Blue or better? I could see a pretty vicious backlash if that isn't the case.
Agreed on the crappy AI issue with the boffs. Today is the first time I've played in months. It's really annoying to have to go back and fetch my boffs because they decide to just stand around. There is no strategic value in commanding them during fire fights if they will no longer take orders. The AI is almost as bad as when the game first came out. Really, get this fixed!!!
Yeah the Boff AI movements are annoying me too, instead of forming up behind you now like they used to the all form up in front of you making it impossible to see targets most times, and of course you move, they move with you and stand in front of you again. Seriously in need of a rework...

Yes, there is a change to do exactly that in the pipeline.
Boff AI is in need of some major work; the pathing is horrible, the formation is annoying, AI actions constantly are distracting (ranging from running/hopping amok to just not doing anything), and one thing that has irritated me even before Crossfire mod is the fact that Boffs initiate fire well before I am ready, so I always have to set up ambushes well outside of weapons range or in a place the Boffs cannot see the target. Ground combat is the one thing that you either really love or really hate.

I'll second this, i love to start of combat with a grenade but my idiot boffs fire the minute i throw and 90% of the time this causes the enemy to react and move out of the grenade range, i'd like to have them either hold fire till i say or at least wait till i've caused an enemy damage (grenade explodes, sniper shot goes off, orbital strike hits, etc...)to attack. shooter mode is an almost decent alternative (at least for grenades) but the formation pathing tends to put a boff in my line of fire so often i don't bother....

I'm glad this isn't only happening to me. I had many issues with trying to get my boffs to walk through doorways, they will often just stop and stand there. I have not experienced this before on holodeck.

I particularly enjoy it when the run in circles and bounce off the walls trying to get through an open doorway.
You've mentioned this "pipeline" a LOT over these past couple of days. Must be a very busy pipe.
I have been wondering if I need to dial up a thesaurus to come up with other ways to describe it...
Hard to think of new ways to say, "checked in, now it has to jump through a half dozen steps before you guys will see it, and I have no way of knowing exactly when that will be so can't say anything other than the hated 'Soon(tm)'".

well this is one area they need to address... the last 2 times i bought from C-store I got 5 white and 2 greens nothing above that so there is something wrong there........I also sometimes loose Doff's not sure where.
My Boffs seem to be ok at the moment.

If nothing else -- and there's plenty of other stuff that I give you much kudos for! -- thank you for recognizing how much we have come to dislike that word.
That being said, I for one grok the need for workflow processes and am fine with it -- Great Bird knows, you're posting a dozen times a day and whacking bugs almost as soon as they rear their heads.

Every time I tap the X-key to try to use the new aiming mechanism on the ground...
My BoFF's Stand Right In Front Of Me!
No matter which way I turn... I can't get a bead on any of the enemy...
...though I do get a rather alluring & distracting, butt nice view, of my female TAC's TRIBBLE...
a lot...

Thanks for the clearing that up hopefully will get the new build soon

Oh yeah, its great, especially when you are in the middle of a fight and they can't find their way through the door to join you.
These guys make the Pakled look like geniuses.
