The ship sure is getting cramped..

With the listed crew size of my Saber class escort being 50, I find it humorous that I have 100 DOFFs and 6 BOFFs for a total crew of 106. Even with a few out on missions, there must be alot of hot-racking going on since I never seem to have more than 10 crew capable of going on a mission at any one time.

    Maybe they're all in transporter stasis?

    Nope, they are stored in the transporter's pattern buffer. However, I am not so sure about all the shuttles that are needed for the away missions.

    How is everyone getting so many DOFFs? I only have 36 and I'm a captain 4.

    A lot of people dumped their 1200 point stipend on doff packs.

    100 doffs + 6 boffs + 1 captain = 106 crew?

    I'm pretty sure Cryptic has mentioned in the past that crew numbers are representative of your *on duty* crew and their ability to perform and are not meant to be taken as exact values for maximum crew capacity.
