Knowing when I've lost a DOFF

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
I don't know if this is a bug or only I have had this problem, but it seems like a number of my DOFFs have been killed off or just disappeared from my main roster and I wasn't sure how. I've also noticed that failed DOFF missions don't always show in the 'complete' section.

I would like a little bit more info after finishing these missions. Doesn't have to be a briefing like a regular mission, but it would be nice to get a report beyond just the would 'success' or 'failure' and something better for casualty reporting then having to watch to see if "sickbay" is clickable

Yes I've had the same situations, mission completes and DOFFs vanish, or die I suppose, and there is little to no notification given for the most part, I have to just keep track of the total Doff number and see if it subtracted or not.

OP, spot on. We needed to be notified of DOFF death and for that mater injury. Injury is a little more visible with the sickbay, but I don't even realize I have had a mission failed till the sickbay tab lights up.

This gives me an idea for a rather perverse set of Accolades based on how many DOFFs (i.e. "redshirts") you have gotten killed. Hey, if we can have accolades for how many injuries your Captain has sustained, then why not this? For example, lose ten DOFFs and you'd get the Accolade "He's Dead, Jim".
