Why do that mission?

I am new to the F2P trial and I found some missions that make no sense to me.

Why should I do a "Aid the planet" mission? You spend credist and get nothing. OK, you get XP and diplomatic points, but you can get those things faster with other missions. The items you are used to get on Holodec are gone. So why do them?

Then there are the exploration missions. The first time you do them you get dilithium. The second time you get only XP. So why enter a nebular oder starcluster a second time? Except if you need the anomalies.

I think/hope they are missing their rewards at the moment. On the first build in tribble the items did exist even if it was completely hit or miss if you got something. I'm hoping that means its being replaced by dilithium or taken out till fixed. *cross fingers*

If not then would it be possible to decrease the amount of needed items sense as the above poster mentions other missions do give diplomatic XP and the don't cost a thing. They are not worth the money invested as is verses reward.

Aid the planets could definitely be tweaked if this is intended, if giving nothing more than a bit of EC to offset costs. Still, DOFF trade assignments can be a very nice source of those commodities. The freighters in sector space also sell them extremely cheap, compared to your replicator. Commodities are also used in a number of other DOFF assignments, so having a cheaper stock on hand from the freighters is a good idea anyway.

Exploration clusters have a level range that they will actually give you the dilithium. Once you pass it, no more dilithium. This probably isn't intended, but for right now, that is something to be aware of. If you want dilithium from them, you need to do them when they are level appropriate.
