With the new F2P test and rewards for reaching high levels, a lot of people will be investing a lot of time in Tribble characters. I was just wondering: After the F2P test is over, will it be possible to transfer these characters to Holodeck, or will they remain where they are? I'll understand if they can't be transfered, but I just thought I'd ask.
Thanks for any information you can provide,

No. People can invest as much or as little time beta testing the upcoming F2P changes, and even though this is a 'public beta test' (since anyone who wants can join in, unlike a closed beta test), it's still a beta. No game company has *ever* allowed beta characters to go to 'live' servers.

That actually isn't true. Perfect World International took characters over to live for anyone who managed to reach at least lvl 50.
There are hosts of MMO's that have done this, many regretted it later and did a wipe and "relaunch" of the game just to fix the mistake.
No Western MMO has done it that I know of...
But this game is owned by Perfect World now, and seeing as they are an Eastern company...
