I may have missed something but is there any particular reason the Cstore contents on Tribble right now is only a fraction of what is normally available? notably many of the ships and refits being absent?

Also kind of odd that it acknowledges some of the things you have bought on holodceck and makes them available to you with a new character on tribble, but most it shows as unbought again or not present at all? Don't have this issue with transferred charactrs obviously, but new ones you do. kinda odd.

Also just how large is the variance in the Duty Officer packs on the Store? I ask as I bought 4 packs and from among them I already have 4 repeats of one officers, 2 repeats of 3 others etc.. I should have thought I really shouldnt be getting duplicates quite so soon.

Not liking the 3 or 4 day missions to recruit a new Duty officers either as that largely forces you to turn to the cstore (intentional, obviously) in order to be able to get officers to do most duty missions.

It probably needs to be clarified somewhere in game too that jobs as well as species have a baring on DOFF rarity.. i.e a saurian being considered rare even though its a white etc..

Dilithium cost and token in place fo the free ship token for ranking up.. horrible idea. You do all the work doing missions to get your rank more than earning your ship only to now be stung in the dilithium wallet, which your likely to be missing enough for if you don't grind dailies. This is flawed for many reasons, firstly as I say you already earnt and did the time for the ship. Secondly it means you either have to grind dailies which may effectively mean you cannot really play for days until you earn enough for a new ship well not unless you plan to do higher tier missions in a lower tier ship, which int always possible.

That aside I hadnt spent any dilithium by the time I made Commander 1 and I had 10464 (or similar), the ship for ranking up to commander cost 10,000!! And they say you won't have enough at higher ranks... im just glad most of my characters are already VA's on holodeck as this seems a bad idea right now and the numbers in need of definite tweakage. I mean I get you want to do this stuff for the F2P'ers who will be joining but lets not have systems that also punish the people who have stayed with the game throughout eh.

Energy credit seem off now from Ensign to commander 1 doing all the missions, numerous events etc.. selling everything I cant actually use I have about 15,000 energy credits??? before I would have had about 10 times that.

Energy credits btw with the exception of auction house, tailor and white gear seems to have zero use, even less than before. even buying the white BO's from Space Docks now costs dilithium...!

Speaking of BO's what has happened to thier skills, most BO's of the same type for the same quality seem to have the same skills now with the same 3 or 4 skills re-ccuring and many of the skills absent entirely and only available from the power store or training. trying to find a BO with phaser turret or medical turrent for an engineer nowhere near as easy as it once was. or a science with Tricorder II etc..

Power Store, oddly doesnt seem to be working even though I have relevant rank BO's its telling me every skill does not meet rhe requirements for trainign despite have enough points, cash etc.. It was working a couple of days ago.

Borg event, so a DSE with a boss? k.. and I can see Gozers handprint all over this that borg boss ship is overpowered. with the usual shield insta drop, Dot that kills in a few seconds and pet ships it respawns WAY too quickly. for higher tier ships likely not an issue but when this event is open for like Lt 10's or whatever its just Captain abuse lol and certainly not balanced for those ranks by a CLEAR mile. the non boss ships are fine though although some of the mobs could do with being spaced out more.

Relief missions in Exploration now provide no item reward? just xp and dip xp? poor they are now a pointless money pit.

Exchange (Commodity) for Credits duty Assignment, this in particular strikes me as odd as the total cost of the commodities it asks for is always more expensive than the credits it rewards you..so where exactly is the benefit to it? Better just to go get the xp and commendation xp from other assignments that have no commodity requirement and yet still give as much xp and skill pts. If something is being given as a reward..it should maybe, you know...be rewarding :)

    Starfleet Academy Event, kinda fun but I would have preferred if the particle rewards were higher and the overall event time was shorter... noone really wants to stand around like this for a whole hour.

    the DOFF assignments at Starfleet Academy/Spacedock/Quonos to get a new duty officer should always be available. These are organisations for goodness sake requesting a new crewmen should be relatively simple, not random with regard to whether you cana ctually ask for one. And doubly so when the assignment to get on is like a 3 or 4 day one.

    Mial System, for some reason the mail button on the minimpa is PERMANENTLY telling me I have mail by flashing green and making the notification sound..despite me having NO MAIL to collect. If I click the mail button it will stop flashing green for a few seconds and stop the notification sound for a few seconds but then it starts again shortly after.

    Is there meant to be a section of the Exchange for trading DOFF's? I'm sure I've read they are supposed to be tradeable/sellable?

    Treasure Trading Mission, the NPc Bar Patrons you have to deal with are no pretty much Insta Healing making the only way to take them down now to tell your entire party to focus fire on one at a time.

    Treasure Trading mission which is ranked at Commander 5, yet rewards a Mk II Deflector??? this quest was moved in the story progression but its reward was not updated to reflect that as you can see as it should be giving a Mk VI or so Deflector reward not a Mk II

    Indeed many of the moved quests seem to giving Marked item rewards from where they were originally in quest progression and not where they now are, resulting in reward of items far below the level the quests are now set at.

    Patrol Missions are now essentially all over the place. For example the Klingon story arc missions.. while im still doing story missions in the Regulus sector i am now at a level that is giving me patrols in all the Romulan sectors?

    these patrol missions need moving i the progression so that im only getting the ones for the sectors im in or the one im about to be in..not for our five sectors beyond that.

    KLINGON PLAY.
    Little confused here.. we now start at level 17 and by the time the tutorial is done we are 19 yet despite giving us a ship token you do not give us the dilithium to get a ship for the rank we start. So effectively we now this is doubly useless if you are anything EXCEPT a BoP pilot as the only ship you have irrespective of where your level 17 skill points are spent is the BoP.

    this also becomes misleading because being promoted to Lieutenant Commander equiv rank you are sent to the shipyard to get your new ship still... but obviously you cant get one, so its essentially dangling the carrot and then snatching it away at the last moment.

    also when I did the promotion to the Lc I did not recieve ANY dilithium which is odd as one of the main ways to get one is rakning up according to Cryptic? something doesnt seem to be working.

    Also starting me at level 17 is nice but giving me gear for BO's of my level and then only giving the same 3 ordinary white normal starter BO's again seems a little contradictory and out of place, especially when levelling normally to level 17 I would have FIVE other BO's all above white in quality.

    Restated earlier in fed feedback but klink side started so close to next rank I reach Commander 1 equiv and am given 8000 dilithium, the ship costs 10,000, cant buy new ship for tier so still stuck in starter ship, still have white star boffs, couple of hundred energy creds.. only the mk 2 starting gear on the ship, which in itself is not a ship im skilled to pilot, not wasting BO skill points on 3 starter BOs i dont want either....feel like I am at a DEFINITE disadvantage. This new setup is not a favourable one right now. and you pretyt much feel punished for levelling up klink side as the mroe you do it under this system the bigger a disadvantage you put yourself at.

    Seeing a bunch of Blue energy Dome Fx about lately in ESD and at Starfleet Academy. not entirely sure what they are from as these particular fx are new to me, but I will say one thing they absolutely kill Pc performance when you get near or go through them.

    Ranked up in Diplomacy to Consul, it tells me I have a tier 1 and a tier 2 token to choose from the diplomacy DOFFs in the popups store. Yet when i click on them it tells me I have no room, which is odd as im at 67/100 DOFF's so I have PLENTY of room?

    Also that reward store window, how and where do you get that open again once closed? If you have unspent tokens and you close the window you have no way back in order to try and spend them again until you get the next tier of diplomacy in which case it pops up again.. its silly.

    UPDATE:
    apparently the guys for commendations token redemption is sat in the office at starfleet academy something the game does not tell you EVER, not helpful. May want to fix that cryptic so people know where to look.

    also worked out why it wouldnt let me redeem the tokens I had apparently it puts redeemed officers into an assigned Duty position on ship be it space or ground as opposed to nto your unassigned Doffs roster, which is a bit dumb.

    Once you make room you can redeem tokens and then move the officers to the unassigned roster.

    with Regaird to the Exploration cluster dailies, it was my belief they are supposed to reward dilithium, correct? However four days in I have STILL yet to find a single cluster exploration daily that awards me Dilithium again after the day cooldown.

    All I am recieving is XP and skill points after the first time, no dilithium.

    At present, you will only gain dilithium from your "level appropriate" cluster, good luck figuring out where that is at the moment, and I've no idea if it's intentional or not.

    Because missions now progress in a linear level scaling strand, while patrols are unchanged. Plus XP gain seems to be doubled.

    Because the level scaling is applied to the mission, but not it's reward, obviously, that needs to change before this goes live.

    Supposedly, the DOffs are supposed to be tradable, but the code isn't active yet. I haven't seen the instant healing thing.

    The ones that seem to carry across for me are the items I'd unlocked through retail purchases (except the Constitution). It would have been nice if our costume unlocks carried across, however.

    Few more feedback parts.

    DOFF system, had hoped we'd get more active duty spaces as we ranked up tbh, but it seems its stays at 5 ground, 5 space and 100 unassugned doff roster all the way from LT1 to VA1.

    STF's these have always been something I've had fairly mixed feelings over even on holodeck, mostly due to my hatred for grinds of any sort and putting the best carrots in the game as rewards to necessitate those grinds is an element of MMO design in general, which has never sat well with me. As was referenced with Mr D'angelo's post today my opinion is there should be awesome carrots available through ALL the different means of play so that irrespective of what people lke to do their is some incentive to keep doing it from start to end and not be forced at end game to go into other aspects of gameplay you may not enjoy so much in order to get said carrots.

    And me and Gozer irrespective of me being awestruck with his ideas and design always have different views on what level of difficulty is fun. :D I don't find dying over and over and not being able to complete them with most PUg groups fun. when they cease to be "open" to all and start to be "hardcore and organised fleet raid friendly only" then I start to look elsewhere for my "fun".

    That said, I do like the new STF's queue system now and how it is split into parts, ground and space as this makes them far less annoying and far more PUG friendly in so much as finding a group now even if some of the STF's themselves need dialling back some still to make them doable by your average PUG because you know if a group cant do something or something isnt obvious someone will drop without word, and then another, and then it cant be done anyway etc.. you know the way of the frustrated PUG session lol.

    Duty system obviously a massive report of how your officers did on the assingments just isnt practical but it would be nice if they all at least gave a sentence or two to describe the result you obtained be it success, critical, failure or disaster.

    Not too sure if it is a bug or not but also had some assingments complete and I get the yellow text saying they are comlete but then have nothing showing as complete to actually turn in more than a few times, which is frustrating as it leaves you unsure of what happened, did i even get my doffs back? etc..

    Is there any way to see your commendation pts earned and ranks in the various areas (colonisation, maruder etc.etc..) like there is Fed side? As you are blatantly earning different XP's via the DOFF system but unlike fed side you cannot click on the xp bar and click the commendation tab to see your ranks and various CP's earned?

    This is supposed to occur as you rank up in commendations, not standard ranks. It is also presently, disabled.

    LATEST BUILD FEEDBACK

    Some item icons (transphasic torp) and assignment buff icons are now missing and just appearing as a blank white square.

    KDF Commendation XP for marauder not listing correctly irrespective of amount earned it only shows as 0/-1. Still seems to be earning correctly, just not listing correctly.

    DOFF system where injuried and fatalities are concerned with a mission it really needs to be highlighted more in the assignment completion window, maybe bolding it or using a diofferent color text for injuries or fatalities.

    DOFF shipboard Assignment Execute for Example or whatever it is called, REALLY needs to be clearer in the text that your assigned doff isn't DOING the executing but BEING CHOSEN to be EXECUTED lol

    Assignemnt EC rewards, not a big thing but why 495 or 350 etc? why not nice Round numbers, you know :P

    Some assignments, especially raids on XXXX show as being available to do even when I do not have enough of the required type of (security or tactical) DOFF available (and not already on an assignment) to do them, which is misleading.

    Contraband seems to be a requirement for many assignments KDF side yet I have not seen nor earned via any of a multitude of different types of assignment any means to earn as of yet.

    Prisoners, these are required for some assingments yet again no indication is given of where to look, buy, or earn these in order to be able to do them?

    What exactly is the purpose of the Request Duty Officers Tab? It has no seeming use or explanation and certainly doesnt let you REQUEST anyone?

    Bridge Officers with all the new changes coming down can we now PLEASE have Lethean BO's
    also FEMALE ALIEN BO's (doesnt make any sense for them all to be only male) why are the only female alien bo's available the white quality ones from the ship crew vendors? Why can we not get the higher quality FEMALE alien BO's from ranking up because there are none, I know I HAVE looked on holodeck and Tribble

    Also how about a Lethean Ship for the Cstore the Letheans have definitely largely been dismissed from among the species allied with the KDF, which is a shame as they are great and Rapture is a thing of beauty a Lethean ship design (and access to some lethean BOP's as noted abovE) would be a nice treat..

    Item rewards for the KDF version of the Everything Old is New part of the Devidian series are ALL fed centric, can we get some nice disrupter variants etc.. to make the reward more pertinent to the KDF?

    Skirmish from the devidian episode when done KDF side the friendly klingon forces that are intended to help you with the big space battle are worse than useless they die in short order every time, essnetially leaving you to deal with everything yourself (which frequently leads to multiple respawns). this is not an issue fed side. Maybe adding a KDF cruiser or 2 in place of the BoP's or beefing up the ones present may be in order

    Plasma Mins and torps, these are something I use a lot on holodeck but suddenly on Tribble these now do friendly fire damage to the perosn using them. If I use them on an enemy I get blow back and massive plasma fire damage myself, its practical suicide now because of the close range you really need to be at to make them effective. Can we lose the friendly fire damage again please as it blows..

    Armory Officer, shouldn't the Space Duty bonus be a chance to summon in an extra turret (unspecified) as opposed to Phaser turret, seeing as Feds now have phaser turret as standard and KDF have disrupter turret as standard?

    Astrometrics Officers are showing as though they can be slotting in Space Duty stations yet list no passive benefit for doing so? I assume this is an oversight.

    Trade Assignments need to award better CXP as presently it takes FOREVER and lots of commodities and cash to get it up even a little KDF side.

    when you first head down and the lava corridor with the grating over first appears there is a pathing problems for BO's there whereby they will get stuck on the doors or space between grating and just keep running around like crazy but not proceed up the corridor. With 4 BO's 3 will tend to be okay while the last gets stuck.

    Dilithium Item costs especially from Exploration Vendors are not translating well at all.

    for example 3 systems of explorations would have gotten me 75 marks before which could have bought 2 weapons, or 2 consoles or 1/2 of an engine/shield/deflector. And I could repeat earn those 75 marks every 30 mins.

    However now, just once per day I can earn about 1500 dilithium for exploration from the daily (which is the ONLY dilithium reward associated with exploration) the normal exploration missions now only giving xp and sp. 1500 dilithium (when refined) now buys me LESS THAN one half a MkVI weapon from the exploration vendor. So basically under the new system just doing exploration it will take me three dailies in a cluster just to be able to buy a single mk VI weapon. to buy a MKX weapon it will take me over 10 days. (this is just via exploration im talking here).

    Essentially the incentive to explore has gone altogether it has now just become one of the dailies to grind for dilithium, none of which will ever amount to a large amount. The only real way to earn dilithium is to repeat STFS and events over and over.

    Exploration still needs much love, and some incentive putting back into it.

    Mine Enemy Mission,

    The captured miners you free in the prison section of the mines do not seem to be working correctly anymore. they will come to you and fight if a firefight takes places, but they no longer follow you like they once did and when the fighting is done just stand close together on a spot and remain there for the remainder of the mission.

    Same problem with the friendly remans in the follow-up mission Frozen too.

    Not a bug per se, but it occurs to me that all these NPC starfleet cadets are showing a very distinct lack of respect for senior officers.. not only do they not even acknowledge you they do not even salute. even the folks on ESD in the auditorium know better than this :P

    Mission: Coliseum

    On the second half where you are escaping, once you reach the canyon (that eventually leads up past the wildlife to the cave) Siamek just stops following and stands on the spot and does not follow at all like he used to.

    This is the same as the other previously posted issues of this series where NPC's now do not follow at all

    again going back to how Plasma Mines and torpedoes now do damage to the person who fires them too. I would also like to add that now when you deploy mines, if you are within range when they explode either on an enemy or because thier time runs out they also now damage you the person who deployed them too. I am not a fan of this new friendly fire, please change it back.

    Bridge Officers awarded for Ranking up are NOT being awarded KDF side. I am currently at Brigadier General and not including the 7 I would (should) have been award before Commander rank, which we now don't get because of starting at commander, I should also have recieved SIXTEEN other Bridge Officers from levelling AFTER commander and yet NONE have been awarded at all, not one.

    Indeed the only BO's I have access too are the starting 3, plus any white's I can buy from the Crew Vendor on Quo'nos or that I gain via DOFF assignments.

    It is unclear at what rank the BREEN series is supposed to be unlocked now. Having doen all previous episodes and now being Brigadier General 5 the option to hail Ambassador Surah to started the episodes, which I am now upto is still greyed out.

    Certainly the fact that it does NOT become available once the previous Romulan episodes are finished puts an unecessary roadblock into progression as you no longer have any story based missions to continue with until it does other than replays. This forced me to grind exploration clusters again and do replays.

    Update: It seems Cold Call the first of the Breen series actually becomes available at Major General 2. As noted this is a bit late, it needs opening up once the romulan series is finished.

    Update: It seems as if the breen episode has been spaced out 1 episode allowed per rank from Major General 2.. this is a horrible idea and actually hinders progression.

    Well thats that now levelled a Fed and a KDF from 1 to 61, all feedback to date is listed above.

    Final thoughts

    1. Sick of Batteries, needs to be more types of different loot, getting food and batteries as loot drops is more than a bit too mundane.. that stuff should be vendor bought and save the loot drops for more interesting things.

    2. Had hoped some Doff's may be actual normal quest rewards now like the odd ones that gie BO's are. Yes you can get them from DOFF assignments but still it would be nice to get the odd one here or there for the story.. for example Lt Van'Zyl would have made a great espionage DOFF award for Doomsday etc.. Breen Episodes, great missed opportunity to introduce a Deferi DOFF and so on..

    Had also hoped that thier would be some means to increase the quality of our existing DOFF's rather than just replacing them with a /green/blue/purple alternative DOFF. Maybe X amount of critical assignment successes on a single dOFF could upgrade them to the next quality and add a random trait or some such. this way we can keep and develop the DOFFs we like who are afterall supposed to be part of our standing crew.

    3. Fed levelling curve was seemless and faster than normal I'd hit VA1 by Iota Pavonis about halfway through the Romulan quests. Normally just doing the quests and patrols etc..you dont hit Captain on holodeck until you finally reach BEta Urs and the start of the Cardassian Missions. So was very quick.

    KDF wise was a LOT better, though the last 5 levels because of how the Breen featured episodes were done i.e 1 per level becoming available (noted in previous posts abovE) was pretty ridiculous and hasslesome. Still a couple more featured episode series released and there will be enough content to start filling in the spaces more and maybe lower the starting KDF rank for initial play again so definite improvment KDf side overall.

    4. Doff system was a lot of fun although trying to work out how to get a lot of the requirements like Priosners, contraband (think I saw one mission that offered 1 contraband) etc.. is never really explained and is qwuite frustrating.

    5. KDF tutorial is less of a tutorial and more of a tour of Quo'Nos that offers lots of XP.. had hoped for something a bit more stoy and explanation based like Fed side with ground and space elements.

    6. LOVE that they put the free ship token in all the way to but not including VA for gold members again, hated the previous dilithium for every ship but at a discounted rate malarky from before. so kudos Cryptic for fixing that.

    7. Dilithium.. not overly impressed with it things still vary overpriced and you don't get anywhere near as much use from it as you did for marks for the same amount of activity from before. hopefully that will be addressed, again this is explained more in a previous post above. Still veyr grindy but I did like that most assignments now award a token amount of dilithium ore. One thought occurs it would be nice on the assets screen if you could seem how much remaining of your daily 8k refinable limit you have left.

    CHARACTER TRANSFERS FEEDBACK

    Two odd things. First was when first logging into the transferred character I recieved the random allotment of DOFF's plus a tier 1 diplomatic DOFF..then when I beamed down to Starfleet academy I also recieved a Tier 2 and 3 diplomatic DOFF (which is the diplomatic rank I held)... but why did I not recieve the tier 2 and 3 Doffs at the same time I recieved my tier 1 when I first logged in the transferred character?

    Secondly I notice NO commendation award amounts list for ANY assingment for the transferred character be it a sector assingment or a shipboard, they just dont show like they do for characters created on tribble.

    BRIDGE ODDNESS

    Seems to be some strangeness going off with your bridge officers that appear on your bridge. For example I have 6 active bridge officers in my roster... normally all would appear on my ships bridge, HOWEVER on tribble right now of those 6 active bridge officers only THREE appear... but appear TWICE lol thats right there are duplicates of the same three.

    So I have two exact copies of my betazoid science officer, 2 of my andorian engineer and two of my bajoran tactical on my bridge. but no sign of my vulcan science, my trill tactical or my human engineer BO's.

    For whatever reason it is duplicating existing officers instead of displaying ALL on your BO officer roster.

    SHIP TROPHIES
    With all the new ships the ship models we can place on our trophy shelves on our ships are now woefully out of date and need to include the new models.

    DILITHIUM & CRAFTING
    I'll say right off the bat I hate the idea of adding dilithium to crafting it just not only makes that vein in my forehead throb but it also makes a system that is ALREADY a tedious grind to get anomolies and particle traces an increased grind by also taxing us dilihtium too, which in turn makes it EVEN MORE time consuming.

    anyway rant/rationale follows...

    lower tier amounts not too bad and fairly small but the higher tier dilithium costs are many thousands!
    Its okay saying the overall cost is LESS than buying the equivalent item purely via dilithium alone, instead. But you also have to consider the relative TIME SPENT involved.

    for example if you now consider the time it takes to get the anomolies for an entire AEGIS set say (just as an example).. maybe an hour or two of roaming in circles around the B'tran cluster scanning anomolies will get you the basic anomolies needed or more, but then you need a total of 9 different rare particle, which in themselves seem to vary with rarity (metreon, chronometric being especially rare to appear, and not even taking into account that rare particle drop rate has reduced dramatically over the last few patches anyway), so you may be looking at one or more ENTIRE play sessions for your average "evening" gamer to get the required traces or turn to the Exchange in which cases you looking at a few hundred thousand EC to get the entire allotment of Rare traces you need. Then you need to make the schematics (simple but again use anomolies, which in turn take time to get), and then makes the AEGIS parts themselves. And this is just to make the set under normal circumstances...

    THEN you add dilithium into the equation 18,150 dilithium PER part of the three piece AEGIS set for a total required Dilithium of 54,450. to get that your talking one heck of a grind and time requirement added on top.
    Reward for an Event about 1,440, Lore quest 4-500, assignments 5-100 (on a crit), Dailies 500-1440.. (of which across all of the PVE, PVP and Foundry there are about a dozen total) which instantly takes the time needed already and adds another 3 days roughly or thereabouts to the chore of crafting the AEGIS set and this is just to make three individual items that arent even max tier, some of the max tier craftables requires 31k dilithium each pluse anomolies and rare traces. Meaning about FIVE whole evenings gaming for your average gamers just to make THREE crafted items..!!!

    I mean when all is said and done I can totally come onboard with the idea of this stuff for the new free to Players but why are existing gold and lifetime players also getting the added hassles? One currency is a great idea in and of itself but this has suddenly come with a boatload of added baggage that isnt necessarily wanted for existing players and that just adds exponentially more grind to the game as a whole.

    I can only see this hurting crafting and crafters. Right now i'd sooner do STF's over and over and get the garunteed random blue loot drops or better and tokens for awesome sets from that as it is a better expense of my time and has chance of better reward for the time spent than crafting now does by a clear mile and with NO DILITHIUM COST whatsoever.


    Anyway the TL'DR response is dilithium in crafting.. BAD IDEA. :D
