You should fix the C-store description for officer purchases

It's misleading.

I've purchased 3 packages of offices, and I've only gotten 1 blue out of all packs. the rest are all uncommons or whites.

    Out of all my officer expansions from missions and the 5 junior officer packs from c-points (does anyone else feel like this DOff system is like mafia wars or some other zynga game? lol) I've only gotten 3 dupes so far. Current roster 65 officers.

    You need to click on each one and on the bottom of their picture it tells you the quality don't go by the colors.

    All whites are showing as crewmen. All greens are ensigns, all blues are a unique officer grade so far from viewing in roster.

    What i'm talking about is the officers quality (common, uncommon...etc) it is written at the bottom of their portrait.
    It looks like that is what they are referring to in the cstore.

    I'm the jerk, thanks for pointing that out, but really they should make the rares in that situation blue to make them stand out.

    To clarify: Doff Rarity and Quality are not the same thing. The rarity is the word written below the picture of the Doff (common, uncommon, rare, very rare), the quality is the color (white, green, blue, purple). They don't correlate 100%. I got a very rare Doff from a C-Store Pack that is white, for example. Read Heretic's Duty Officer System posts for more information.

    I believe rarity is more related to species than anything else... humans always seem to be common rarity.. other species you typically see less of in shows serving on a crew tend to be more rare.

    Nothing to do with color though, so packs are working as designed, though devs may want to make that a little clearer so people who don't read the Duty Officers 101 thread dont get confused

    If they want me to spend real money on doffs through the c-store, they better be all green or better. I can get whites myself.

    It's a trading card game, gambling is just part of the game and it probably won't change. The description is dodgy though and should state that it "may" contain instead of the way it's worded now since trading cards are a crapshoot at best.
