Skirmish (Devidian 1) in the middle of the Klingon Campaign?

Hey, I just finished up the Researcher Rescue mission of the Klingon Campaign and now it's telling me my next mission in the Overview is Skirmish, the first mission of the Devidian Feature Series. I can't even hail Admiral Quinn to get the next Klingon Campaign mission.

Is this actually how the missions are going to be laid out? Or is this a bug? Do I need to go do the Devidian Feature series before continuing the Klingon Campaign?

Yes you need to do the Devidian FE series to complete the Klingon campaign..

Interesting. I guess that's... ok. I just thought of them as separate because I played it as it came out, it's going to be very strange now playing it this way. But... whatever.

I think the Devidian series needs to take place after you've dealt with B'Vat, after the Guardian of Forever mission, because it just feels so out of place where it is now. Plus having the Devidian story set there before you go off to fight the Romulans will be a nice little tip of the hat to the "Ghost Ship" mission you encounter during that story chain.

I agree... it feels odd. Makes more sense to add it after the last original Klingon mission and be a bridge into Romulan missions.

agreed, + i think a little more thought needs to go into mission rewards, depending on how you decided to play (how much you explore or patrol) the rewards can become meaningless, they don't seem to match your level very well if you play the way they would like you to play (more balanced in mission type)

Even more important, the mystery of Drake is thrown off kilter. Now when you encounter him in the Romulan missions, you already know he is Section 31 and is therefore not really defecting.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the mono-chain, but this is one serious TRIBBLE up in the placement. Especially because of the Drake bit.

I just played through the Romulan mission “Under the Cover of Night” tonight, and they've changed it. You no longer "see" Drake in the mission; you're tasked with stopping a "defecting" Vulcan who is working for Section 31.

You don't encounter him in the Rom mission anymore. They inserted a new Vulcan lady as a section 31 operative for that mission.

EDIT: Oops, shoulda read down more, sorry for restating what the guy above me said.
