So first and foremost, I love the Doff system. I think it enriches the current game, which I liked to begin with! I have seen some other great posts with feedback and have a couple of questions about things in game.
So first, and I apologize that I don't have the post link handy, but whoever came up with the idea to have either a browser based or smartphone based app, that can access your Doff assignments from in game, deserves a medal or something, that is the best idea I have heard in a long time! You sir are my hero.
So from what I have seen so far of the Doff system, I like, I can tell it is a long term commitment, but still like it. So from what I can tell, you start with a cadre pack at lvl 12 which consists of 15 Doffs. There are cadre recruitment missions that provide an additional 5 Doffs. I know that the intention is to move the lvl 12 requirement down to lvl 8, which I think is another good idea.
So on to the questions:
1. As a CDR, I have roster space for up to 100 Doffs, is this a hard limit, or is there someway to increase the maximum number for your roster?
2. I have come across Doff recruitment missions for "Engineering(Sci, and Tac as well) Junior Officer Cadre", while they are still in progress, does this reward a single Doff, or multiple Doffs of that main category?
3. I know you guys are working on the Dilithium rewards, yay, I hate being a CDR but being stuck in my LTCDR ship
, Is the ETA for this still this coming Thursday or Friday?
4. I have seen reports that the Reassignmnet Doff missions are rewarding in different ways, and am looking for clarification, when you accept this mission and send a Doff back to starfleet, what is supposed to happen by design? Do you lose the doff, or get a replacement, if you lose the doff, do you get dilithium, but I have heard that some people get a new Doff and Dilithium. Just want to make sure I understand the implications doing this mission.
5. Any ideas on the number of Doffs in the booster packs that will be available on the C-Store, and the cost? Just really curious about this, from a planning perspective, it would be nice to know, if I will have to spend $20 to fill my roster or $100.
Okay, I think that just about does it for me, thanks for the time!
