    Exciting stuff...!

I hope this does not feel out of topic. But is this replacing the Engineering reports or will we see a new ER soon?

From what bridge was that screenshot taken? I don't think I've ever seen such an accurate display of LCARS or size of panels in STO

Awesome news! And glad to see D'Angelo making a public appearance! Hello!

So does this mean the new tutorials are done if they want us to play them again?

    Awesome! :)

I must admit I did a bit of a squee when I saw that Tribble is (planning on) coming back tomorrow. I was kind of miffed about not transferring characters until I finished the sentence, heh. Sounds very cool, and I'm looking forward to new tutorial and stuff.

I haven't leveled up an Engineering Captain yet; looks like I'll be trying it out on Tribble. :)

Looking forward to seeing the future dev blogs, as well as helping test out on Tribble. Will we be able to download any of the 'new' Tribble build before tomorrow, or is the plan to wait until the morning (Cryptic time) so you guys can have all hands on deck? (Either way it awesome to me, just really wondering if I could get a jump on downloading it, heh. I still have my old copy of Tribble on my computer, but I'm guessing the new, F2P one is going to (hopefully) be bigger/different.)

    Anyhoo, great news and thanks!

Thank you!! I seriously was beginning to wonder if this was EVER going to happen.

Wow, now I'm just on cloud nine. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Also, the Calendar has been updated with some more dates and details... more updates on the way next week!

    +1 for RSS feed.

Assuming most of the major 4.1 updates are in there as well, I'm super excited about this. If not... still excited, but less so. I don't know how long F2P will remain in testing, but the fact that it got up and running so quickly after being announced is very promising. Here's hoping for an early November release. :)

Edit: Was writing this while the dev above me was posting, apparently. YAY FOR DOFFS!

Will there be any kind of acceleration put on leveling before character transfers are up, so we can get to the higher ranks a little more quickly?

Thanks so much! Any hints on what next week will bring? We take any info from spoilers to slightly blurry screenshots. ;)

I noticed that too... Is that background from an in-game environment? I thought STO wasn't supposed to be using the orange & pink "clown puke" LCARS

Okay, after checking out the updated calendar, I must agree with Heretic and try to use some sick time from work tomorrow, lol. (I really can't, but I don't have to work too much tomorrow, and I'll be able to start testing after I get off, woo-hoo!).

    Also, Exocomp Companion?

    ...

    Oh, hellz yeah! :D
(Any info and/or screenies? Are they Fed only, or will they be for both factions? Please say both.)

    Yay!

(Can someone nudge Matt and ask if he's got a Porthos pet done yet? Pretty please? :) )

What you call "clown puke" some of us call home.

It wasn't supposed to use the red/yellow/blue they used in alpha/

As for that bridge, I think it's the Defiant Replica ship interior that's been mentioned as a C-Store addition similar to the TOS interior. If you're replicating a period interior, I'd imagine LCARS go with it... and I suspect ThomastheCat is responsible for finally adding LCARS CBS would greenlight.

The sidebar makes that easier to tell. "Launch window: Sept 29 through Oct 6."

I was hoping that you guys would put in the new tutorial before f2p. In fact, I was just thinking about that exact subject earlier this morning...

So if the Duty Officer System, Tutorial, and Mission UI Modifications are on Tribble, what is Red Shirt going to be used for? I get that Red Shirt is filling in for Tribble, while Tribble has F2P on it, but then what will be tested on Red Shirt?

But other than that, I look forward to tomorrow. Looks like my Commander will be sitting on the shelf for a while.

I assume RS will be for any changes that go live prior to F2P.

Redshirt is testing bug fixes and other things coming directly to the Holodeck rather then going into the FTP Beta.

Will the Tribble feeedback forums also open again tomorrow as well? Is there any chance of getting an ETA for the Tribble being ready for patching as I live in the UK and am in a different time zone to you guys. I need to set my alarm clock for Trek time!
