Hi folks!

As a part of our split from Atari, we have created a new support portal for Star Trek Online.

You'll be able to find all the same great assistance you could before at this new location, it's simply been rebranded for Cryptic Studios.

If you have any questions, please let us know in this thread.

Thanks,

Stormshade

As odd as this may sound, congratulations and good luck!

Will we be able to review older tickets that had been submitted under Atari's system?

Soooooo... we'll get no support at all?

I mean i've submitted several tickets over the past few days and they're neither on the Atari site nor this one.

Bug reports are not tickets.. are you sure they were actual tickets?

My old ticket still show up, and its much less eye-blinding than the Atari site, so thats great.

I hope you guys can staff up support some more to decrease response times; Then we'll be golden.

Oh they were tickets. But in honesty half the tickets i've reported are never added to the list. Of the total of tickets i've ever posted, probably 10 have shown up in the support page over the course my time in this game.

So what you're saying is that it's almost useless. Gotcha.

So this means I can get someone to tell me again that there is nothing a GM can do about the four Mk XII torpedo launchers I mailed to myself and accidentally deleted while trying to retrieve them. Only now they can tell me that on a cool new web page with a spiffy new logo and new banner images.

Sounds great. Keep up the good work!

I laughed so hard at that.

i'm still waiting for you to resolve my HUD issue with my missing weapons display for the past few weeks. Where the display isn't hidden, the place markers is there saying its showing but its just not on the screen.

Aww geez I was actually hoping for some upgraded support since the previous support was anything but helpful. Oh well you can't be decent at everything I suppose. At least this way Cryptic could possibly have a shot at the most improved customer suport award, some day.

In one of previous tickets I could see all messages I had sent to support but only most recent what support had answered. Is it same way in new portal or can I view previous support responses into same issue?

In another space MMO Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named discussion between support and customer was shown in similar way as forum thread would be (who said, what said, when?). This in my opinion makes communication easier as its easily visible what everyone have said (including if support person have changed midway) and also to spot possible misunderstandings.

Here's hoping the support will improve. Especially before F2P.

Not that i have a problem myself but its been rather painfully obvious in the forums some people are left standing in the rain, and that its a weakness in this game. :) GL !

I hate to be negative but a lot of posters have similar and valid complaints like some issues I've experienced in such things that may take a lot of time to get to then you lose an item or place in a mission that was not your fault and are told by a GM (So called GM that we do not know if its a real person or not) telling us nothing we can do to help you there. I do hope customer service is on the STO polishing list they speak of.

Nice to see its identity more clearly from Atari. It could use the blue LCARS frame found on the STO homepage around to be complete. ;)
