Account error: please click here for more information.
Then when I click it, it says:
This game requires a retail purchase to play. Please visit this page to get your copy!
If you've already purchased the game, please enter your retail key here.
I have already bought the game (albeit when it was first released then never really played it) so know I have a key for it. When I try and input the key it says the key is already activated and can't be used again. When I go to my account it says:
Activated Features
* Star Trek Online Open beta access
* Star Trek Online - Preorder
* Star Trek Online - Digital Retail
So shouldn't I be able to play right away? It's saying I have the digital retail activated etc so can't see why it keeps thinking I should input a retail key?
It may be a stupid question but I don't have any payment method input. Is that neccessary to log in? It used to be that you could log on and create characters etc without it, you just couldn't join. That may have changed though and the error is referring to that?
if that were the case..why would the game not say something like "error : Subscription has expired- please pay up if ya wanna play" instead of "...requires retail copy to play..." ?
I got this one myself and said TRIBBLE it. not going to risk renewing THEN discovering that I still "..require retail copy...".

It does seem a little 'general' doesn't it? Ah well.
The only thing I really wanted to do was patch it all actually so that when I decide to renew my membership it will be ready to go.
