Help with the game launcher

It just will not work for me. Most of the time it sticks to a white screen with 'Loading: Please Wait. . .' and wont move past that. then, on the tenth try, the username/password will pop up. after input, it just sits there doing nothing. i even let it sit for a half hour and it still did nothing. did a clean uninstall, then re installed it, but got the same problem. Any help?

i am using windows xp. no, i am not getting any type of error, or anything of that matter. the only issue i am having with IE would be that it loads these forums extremely slowly. other then that, no problems with it.

I had an XP System when I first started playing the game, last May, and my Game Crashed or Locked up Repeatedly every day.

What are the other Stats on your system? Htz? Ram? Etc...

    XP Profesional.
    SP 3
amd athlon tm 64 x2 dual core processor 4200+
    3 gigs ram

i havnt had any problems with the game since i started playing last month, until yesterday when the launcher started acting up. i have yet to get it working. the furthest i have gotten is being able to patch it, but the engage button stays as cancel, and i am not able to click it, or anything else on the launcher save the minimize and close out buttons

Windows Xp has worked just fine for me the really only problem i had was with Windows Xp 64bit there was too many issues with the 64bit version so i went back too 32bit version and have not had an issue. The only time i have an issue is when they i mean Cryptic does not fix some thing the right way other then that i never really had a issue.like i said it could be a fire wall issue or some Anti virus that you might be useing Have you tried cleaning out your computer Try CCcleaner and clean out your computer a little and see if that helps and try a HD defrag.

ive run cccleaner and defraged my system, but the problem still persists. ive turned off my firewall just to make sure that that isnt the issue, and that didnt work either
