Terrible Lag, unable to login

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
Im havin some problems playing STO atm.
It was laggy, then i got shot because m ship didnt fire or respond to anything, the enemy ships were still firing an bit, but less than usual.
Now i cant login, the game refuses to load the map. I think its a network error, and im almost sure its not on my side.
So, anyone else experiencing problems or do i have to start a Level 7 Diagnosis of my Network?

Nearly the same Issue here. The map loads, but than... Everything else around me can move, I still recive chat messages but I'm freezed. Nothing works not even the Logout button, I tried to write a Ticket but no. Sometimes it is that bad that not even my Skills load. The only thing I could do is Exit the game.
This problem appeared the first time yesterday. I haven't experienced anything compareable befor.

Seeing this big-time today... loaded up Orellius twice, couldn't move or do anything, chat didn't load, couldn't log out - eventually server stopped responding. Also just got booted whilst in the Alpha Trianguli sector.

Getting the exact same thing. Tried trace route and a net test and seemed to get good results. Was playing fine until 3 or 4 am last night.

Some problem here as have a few other German players.

Had a similar problem about 6 weeks ago, but back then, proxy activation helped a little, while it doesn't do the trick now.

The trace result seems relatively fine:

The nettest result are incunclusive as it sometimes shows very low bandwidth on port 80 (2k only) and then doesn't progress any further.
Router rest results in somthing like this though:

I'm getting some serious rubber-banding / lag today as well.

Sorry, don't have the technical data. But my ISP isn't showing problems on their end.

Same here, a lot of LAG, my ship out of control and my character recoils and cant interact with NPC and objects.

If there are lag problems now, when the game becomes free I cant imagine

    Microtransactions to reduce lag?

    Shame.

Having the same issue, was having huge lag and server not responding yesterday, then today it was fine, no issue at all, then just now tonight and the lag and server response is gone again.
I'm wondering if it's the time zone difference.
I'm in Australia, and it's 9pm here on the 16th, which is 5am in the US, so maybe that's a big time there.
I can't work it out, WOW & RIFT has no problems at all like this.
