We'll have something in game related to the 45th Anniversary and there are no plans for this to be a "c-store event". My schedule shows some feature episodes running at that time, so we might even tie that week's episode into the event.
Promise only what you can deliver. Then deliver more than you promise.
Happy Birthday to the idea that brought about so many changes to real life it is not even funny...

Personally, I am in the Aviation field and as a memento I include a copy of "High Flight" to comemorate this occasion:
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward Ive climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds, and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hovring there,
Ive chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless falls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
Ive topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, nor eer eagle flew
And, while with silent lifting mind Ive trod
The high, untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God."
To all the explorers out there...see you around the final frontier
I remember a certain Cryptic Employee stating there would be featured episodes running through the date that well todays date of the anniversary I wonder if he meant the ones that we already have
Well, 45 Years. Thats brilliant. Even if not all what is called Star Trek was good in my opinion, ( i hate JJ-prise ) i love Trek for as long as i can remember. I hope that new Show will become reality. To the next 45 Years. *raises his Glas of Saurian Brandy*
Oh and Cryptic, no Event, no FE Series, no Q-Boost, not even a special C-Store item? Really? Well, i am not surprised to be honest. I have expected that they drop the Ball on this. But its kinda sad to see that i was right with my expectations.
While I appreciate this topic, I was really hoping that you guys (Cryptic) would have some kind of event to honor this day. dStahl even said a few weeks ago that he would have something planned and here we are and nothing. I know you guys had a lot of stuff going on with the F2P info being released but I am a little disappointed that the only thing we see from you guys about the 45th Anniversary was this small post.

Eh well Cryptic seems to be getting a lot better at the short notice appeasing and the weekend is just about to hit so you never know they may pull a rabbit out of their hats. I'd be happy with an early release of KDF content like a new type of sortie to grind I will raise the bottles of bloodwine since I can replicate them
(BTW Though I am hoping for some like beta ursae KDF sorties raiding shipyards and such like in the episode where they destroyed that one for Jadzia )
That is awesome! I usually do not care much for compilations like this, but the music and all the scenes were perfect together! Well done to the author!
I hope to see something in game within the next month, before the "Anniversary" is long over. I'm sure the Creative STO Writers could come up with something that would show fan appreciation without bleeding Real Life "Anniversary" into the Fictional World.

In exactly the same way the "STAR TREK ONLINE 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY" banners all round ESD and Qo'nos didn't?
Poor show really. Would it have been so hard to give everyone an accolade and title for logging in yesterday?

Set course to the second star the right and straight on 'till morning.
::: looks at watch ..... It's about frak'n time.
We have been a bit miffed and disappointed in STO for taking so long to recognize the milestone of what led ultimately to its birth.
That said, I have been wearing my trek combadge all day today to celebrate.
May Star Trek .... Live long and prosper!!!!

Congratualtions Star Trek!!!
You guys dropped the ball on this occasion. Smack yourselves with a wet noodle.

Happy B-Day Star Trek!
On a completely random but need to satisfy my curiosity note:
Are you and Red_Ice big "Ocarina of Time" fans?
Regards,
Rachel

Nothing registers on sensors. IF there is something there, it is well hidden.

Well you know, they're just so busy. They almost skipped over the 600 vet rewards they're so busy !
Sigh.....
I WANT MY PONY!!! But I'll settle for the Ambassador Class...
I grew up watching you for over 30 years of my life. Thank you for giving the world hope
