Firstly I wish to congratulate you all regarding the transition from Atari to Perfect World! as I'm a keen fan to both Star Trek Online and Star Trek in general I shall watch closely and look forward to any improvements you will be making in due course.
Secondly I wish to discuss the matter of my missing character(s), I was mortified to find my character(s) are no longer available and I'm completely baffled as to where they are, I have spent many hours playing Star Trek Online wading my way through all the content, gaining achievements and enjoying the Star Trek Online experience.
I really do hope they are not lost forever as the time I have spent in the game cannot be turned back and nor do I wish to carry on with the Star Trek Online Experience should I have to re-play the game, if this is the end result I would be completely dissatisfied customer.
I hope this matter can be resolved quickly as I wish to reinstate my subscription at the earliest convenience, In addition I would very much like to play with my characters when Star Trek Online transforms itself to a Free to Play game.

if you are looking for your character on the captain website they will not be thee if you have not played the character in a long time but they will be there when you log in to the actual game (requiring a subscription at this point)
They do not delete the characters but also be sure you are logging in as the account that characters were created with.
the only exception to keep characters is that beta characters are deleted at the start of retail.
