Borg DSE Torpedo Spread

I'm noticing there is a massive delay between the launch, arrival and the effect of the Borg Torpedo Spread 1-shot kills.

Think we can add somekind of warning to indicate that a torpedo attack is on the way since the Borg NPCs multitarget and you wouldn't know an attack is on the way?

Also, could you please look into it 1-shot killing from over 10km away. What happened to evading these attacks?

I noticed you can tractor the plasma torps that one shot you, also PS works to stop them failing that its bye bye time. Still its nice to see something like that ingame since there is very little that can one shot you, and its not like there moving so fast you cant see them... there actually quite slow moving.

He means the torpedo spread not the high yields. the speads r quite dangerous now, there is 0% chance to dodge and they hit 8 targets for up to 70k dmg. They need to be changed back to multitarget non tracking for the borg.

i noticed this as well. very dangerous.

not that i dislike the borg being powerful but even so. unavoidable 1 shots are no fun.

Yeah I have eventually adapted to hitting all my buffs when I see a normal torpedoes leave a Borg ship.. If it is normal then it's a spread.

Also, I learned that the Borg Torpedo Spreads follow you now. Which makes it far worse.

In the old version, a Torpedo Spread would detonate at a certain location. But now if you use evasive to get out of that area, even if its well outside of 10k, it follows you and still 1-shots.

The only way to avoid this now is to get in the Borg Blind Spots above or below.

the torpedo spreads 1-shotting me aren't so much something that bothers me. They don't happen to often and to my knowledge only kill one person.

Its when I'm flying past V'ger and just randomly explode that I scratch my head. Suddenly. As in no beams, no torpedoes, no effects just "boom". More confusing than annoying though, since I don't know if its a weapon with a bugged effect. Some of us call it the borg's new "**** you bomb".

I believe the "invisible kill" attack is related to the torp spread. The graphics on it are bugged, often you don't see it coming and sometimes even the explosion effect doesn't display... it's just boom 70k damage. That spread really needs a nerf. I can understand the big plasma bolts being 1-shot capable, as they are slow and targetable, but a 1-shot spread isn't exactly fair.

    Torpedo Spred is bugged.
You gain damage up to 30 seconds after the visual hit. However countermeasures like brace for impact need to be activated before the visual hit.
