Smooth move including an accessory that also applies to the Fed. That'll probably boost sales quite a bit (and maybe make those Fed only guys who bought it for the eyepiece make a KDF char since they now have KDF c-store content).
I am soooooo getting these after work... Hey, now all I need are fingerless gloves, an horno cloak, and some Klaa hair...just like Kirian's avatar....mwuahahahahahahahahaha.....

Or it will make all the KDF only people gripe because none of the Fed stuff comes with bonuses the KDF can use. Personally I kind of like the idea of the eye patch being for everyone but I have a bad feeling some people wont be as thrilled.
I am starting to feel some mild irritation with this. How long has it been since we had new content yet the cstore keeps churning out new stuff? Sorry but this irritates me.
When will we ever get an option to gain these in game?
I can see an expanded crafting ability with clothing. ......
This I would agree with 110%.
Got crafting maxed out on 3 different characters now, and absolutely nothing of interest to build anymore. Would love to see -all- uniform styles get added as craftable items, SOONER rather than later.
These uniforms look like Klingon busboys at a restaurant with the apron and everything. I probably would have gone for a more modern aesthetic from an artistic perspective, with this being the year 2409.
More often than not, the Federation gets lopsided with all the costumes, and Klingons get the "scraps left over" (as usual I suppose).
You guys could easily make C-Store costume releases which work for both Fed and Klingon factions. Costume parts, like belts, accessories, capes (in some cases), or simply objects attached to your character such as a "phaser belt" (or disruptor belt for Klingons), eye patch being a nice touch ofcourse. Glasses, Additional visor-styles (for both sides), non-invasive implants (not as harsh as Borg implants). There is literally dozens of ideas which would work within the Star Trek IP, while simultaneously giving both factions more options.

They are produced by two separate teams. What one team puts out has little/no effect on the other. The fact is, the c store releases are generally easier and faster to make, and yield immediate income from those who feel the virtual product is of value. Those that don't, don't get it. Meanwhile, the new missions and game mechanics take massive amounts of work to build, then test, then troubleshoot, test, etc.
Also you have to take into account the wider scope of recent events with Atari and Perfect World. Atari has known they were selling it long before the sale went through, so they didn't allot much to the team to make new content. Now that the sale is done, PW is ramping up for loads of new content in the pipeline.
In other words, your complaints have no logical place in this thread that is totally unrelated to what you are complaining about, please take them elsewhere, there are plenty of anti-cstore threads already.
Yeah, I disregarded those dates because of the 1st item on the list
Good plan. Obviously the dates are just a "wishful thinking" sort-of deal. I fully expect the proposed September 22nd and October 22nd dates, to get pushed back quite a few more times. If we're lucky, we might get new Feature Episodes by christmas of 2011.
One wonders how they hope to "Remaster all episodes before February 2nd 2012", going by the current work schedule.

Since the people making the content are not the same people who make uniforms, you don't have a leg to stand on.
Indeed. Thou, when suggested by Dr Pulaski, Geordi La Forge still preferred to stay with using his visor.
He did, however there were risks associated with the procedure and if anything went wrong, he would not be able to return to using the VISOR afterward. Not to mention that the visor gave him much greater functionality than normal human eyes as opposed to an eye-patch which is only used to cover a missing eye instead of augment or replace abilities.

Now if we could only get the Captain Klaa Open Vest and Hair!!... you know, non-dread hair that no Klingon had in the shows...

why not release the car first before the add ons for it I think the while community could have waited and you would have made more money.
Ditto!
The whole package is epic win.

Oh and by the way... Wasn't the Klingon Academy "zone" supposed to be launched alongside the Klingon Academy uniforms/parts ?!?!?
Nice costumes & I have to agree the in-game means for C-store items have been promised for over 6 months.
I can't wait for this long overdue "in-game-credits-c-store-function" to finally make some progress & go life.
Lucky I'm a very patience man.

The medical technology in the 25th century is advanced enough to replicate a new eye......
