Ever since I updated my graphics drivers I keep getting a constant "Server not responding" usually followed by a disconnect. I have other online games I play and none of them have this issue. Just wondering if anyone else have had this issue since updating their graphics card drivers and if it may be an STO problem only. Mine is a laptop graphics card, NVIDIA 310M series with the 8.17.12.8026 (280.26, latest drivers) driver patch.
This last weekend I got a lot of those DC and also I got a time when the server backed itself up making me loose a lot of material I already had collected. And this didnt happen just to me, happened to those people online with me at that time.

Well, I submitted a ticket on the atari webpage (complete with DX DIAG) and got a reponse telling me i had to submit a ticket on the atari webpage.... So I guess this problem is not going to get adressed since i am getting the runaround.
I have tried all of the tricks posted on the forums so far, but still getting random "server not responding". Feels like the players are the only assistance we get here (from looking at the forums) and with the insane ammount of bugs in this game, that's a poor showing in their part.

I also tryed everthing, even opened some ports 7000 7500 for this game. Still after 2 to 10 min i get the same message....
I'ld like to add I had this and how I solved it not sure if it would work in your case but it's worth a shot if you can fix it.
I am using a Nvidia graphics card and a Nvidia chipset so it may be a different fix in your case.
1) Started in safe mode
2) Uninstalled the Nvidia drivers for the card and chipset
3) Restarted again in safemode
4) Ran drivercleaner
5) Installed Nvidia graphics drivers (latest)
6) Installed Nvidia chipset drivers (latest)
7) rebooted
Not sure if it will help in every case but the above seemed to work for me so you should definately give it a shot. Installing the graphics drivers first and then chipset drivers seemed to fix it.
*EDIT* Think it could be something to do with the graphics driver and the network driver being different versions, maybe causing a memory conflict? Not sure really.
