Can't resubcribe using paypal

So I recently wanted to come back and retry STO. I bought it off Steam a while back, paying with paypal, and I setup a 1 month recurring, also paying with paypal. I cancelled the account after a few months thinking I might want to come back later and play some more. But now when I go to my account to reactivate it there's no paypal option there, only credit and gamecard. So is this normal and is there any way for me to resub using paypal?

Once you Log-In and Click Your Account, there should be Two Buttons, Manage, and Add. I would think clicking Add should let you set up for PP. I have not done that, but it should be an option there.

Under payment methods I only see Add, which only includes a credit card option, and on the dashboard under subscriptions the link says "Re-Activate this subscription". I also live in Canada if that has any effect.

Not being that familiar with PP, I could not tell you if Location has any bearing, but from that Log-In screen, you should have links to get Account Support Help. (Might even get lucky and find Live Chat Help from time to time.)

Ya, I just went to cancel & re-subscribe because I was paying for my mom's account as a birthday present but PayPal only gave me an option to cancel my STO entirely rather than just one of the recurring payments, but I can't re-subscribe :( What gives?

I would not think the problem would be the company change, but that is a possibility.

If you can not chat with support, then the next level is an Account Support Ticket.

There are new threads starting in regards to failure to be able to Re-New the subscription with PayPal. Has anybody found a solution to this issues as yet??

Are we sure that Cryptic's arrangement with Paypal for subscription services hasn't just been canned? May have happened with the change in ownership.

If that were to be the case, then they should give that info to the players who has submitted Support Tickets regarding this question, Shouldn't they??

I think the recent announcement of them going F2P has something to do with it; they likely have to revamp their agreements with Paypal or something, or they are switching to the ability to use Perfect World pre-paid cards to pay for STO; I hope it's the latter as I can get those even at 7-11, though I really hope they include being able to pay for a premium subscription with those and don't just limit it to c-store purchases. Stahl already admitted in a web radio interview I heard yesterday that they will be offering premium subscriptions, similar to hoe Champions Online does it.
