Wireless connection troubles

Viewed the sticky for diagnostics for internet connection. My com didnt get a value over 75 on the cmd prompt although the nettest.exe always timed out, not sure why.

Anyways

My problem is that while playing STO, mainly in the random arenas, my wireless card... not sure the word, cause it still detects networks but isnt showing as active either. As well, it can no longer detect the network it was connected to prior to the trouble. A simple restart of my computer fixes the problem but if it does this more than once a day I usually stop playing. I have reset my wireless router to no effect, havent trying the ISP router but that will be the next test when I get around to playing again.

Any ideas what is killing my connection/card/router?

Edit:

I play WoW too, never have any issues connection wise, even in heavily populated areas (100+ other players)

Edit2:

I get only slight rubber banding every now and then, but nothing to big. My system, when the trouble happens, just goes "nope, thats all". (editing as I think of stuff to add to help)

Edit3:

Just remembered that when I was using my laptop at my parents place, my computer would get disconnected in the fashion as stated above but my brother and mother (who would of killed me if that router went down) were still online. So this issue IS network card based.
