Loading the Sol system takes at minimum 5 mins, I always get marked as idle and at most I get DCed for being idle to long while in the load screen. I have tried reinstalling, force verify and no cigar. This is getting utter ridiculous.
I'm on a Win 7 64 bit
my processor is Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 900 @ 2.20GHz.
Mobile Intel(r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family #1 and #2 (dual processor)
3 GB ram.
I have recently found that I kept getting Timed Out due to my Firewall SW Blocking something in the game files. Have you tried to load and run the game with FW *Deactivated? (*Just as a Test Only) Could be that with recent Up-Dates to game, Permissions need to be re-set in FW??

I'll try it, I'm open to any suggestions at this point.
I tried it with my firewall off and it was still slow, not as slow but still really slow. I know it's not a pc problem, and every other system loads fast, it's just these 2.
I could not offer help here, but you may want to list other System Specs that you have. Others may be able to see some issue that they could say is a problem.
I see you have OS, and Ram
Things like Graphics Card and other items can be issues.

Where can I find out what graphics card I have? I would have listed it if I knew.

I can run the game at max settings with no lag. It's just when it comes to Sol and ESD. Even the new First City (being big and awesome) loads fast.
soory may have misspoked about the graphic card. I saw this in your post
Mobile Intel(r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family and thought it was the graphic card and did not see you was referring to the processor?
best to post a copy of your dxdiag report on your system
type dxdiag.exe in a run/command prompt and save all the information to a text file. either attach the file or copy and paste it over several posts
One Isolated System gets hung up and nothing else does??
Weird. Have you submitted a Bug Report when trying to load ESD, (SOL), system?
From your OP, am I reading correctly that you run Wireless?
Yes, only those 2 systems. Nope haven't submitted a bug report, was going to if this thread didn't end up helping. I run on a laptop, can play max settings only those 2 systems take awhile to load (SOL more so, ESD is just an inconvenience), my computer is connected directly to the modem via Ethernet.

Actually that is my graphics card, my processor is Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 900 @ 2.20GHz.
After reading through your DXDiag, the first thing to stick out to me is you haven't updated your graphics drivers since 2/11/2011. Also, your card isn't supported by STO, it is under minimum spec.

The thing is, I have no idea where to update it, I'm on a HP and they don't seem to have one. still how does it being under minimum spec only affect one system in the whole game?
all I could find was the Intel(r) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, I couldn't find an actual update for the card itself. Ok that seemed to have been the update I got an updated file now.
Here is the issue with ESD. They raised the cap to 75 players per instance to make it more social. The problems comes when trying to load into an area with 74 active "player ships". The system is trying to gather all that data for you and on some internet connections it slows down or stops. Run the tracert test and a nettest and have someone more qualified then me look at the results. It could tell you if your loosing data along the line from sto server to your computer and be affecting your ability to get in there.

The ESD problem isn't as bad as it was before, it's SOL system, I think the problem might be because the SOL system is also way to full.

Well, I mean the same area and the same concept. 75 players in sol system and 75 on esd. That is alot to handle really. Run those tests and post them to see what happens.

For good connections, column 1 and 3 have values around 500 kb/sec (outgoing/incoming), column 2 has values around 20 kb/sec (transfer rate). If the values in these columns is less than what is expected you may have filtering or blocked ports either on your personal network or from your ISP
We'll run two tests. The first is a called tracert and measures how quickly various connections between Cryptic and you respond. The second is called nettest and gauges how much data can be passed at once on various ports.
Test 1: tracert
For Windows 7, hit the start button
Where it says Search All Files and Programs, type CMD and press ENTER
The first result should be cmd.exe
Right-click on cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator
A black, command-prompt window should appear
From here type the following command:
tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com
Good Results:
Values lower than 180 are ideal for playing MMOs (and anything under 100 is outstanding). Higher values usually cause lag and rubber-banding in-game. Report any values above 180ms. Right-click in the Command Prompt Window and select all. Save as a text file (txt).

Done nothing above 180
tried the nettest 3 times and it timed out each time...can't be good.

I'm not an expert but compared to my numbers yours are pretty high. There even appears to be delay right from your laptop to modem almost. I'd ask your isp to check the modem and then anything inbetween. If your timing out on the netest then that can be part of the problem too. Your laptop is fine just the information is not reaching you like you need it to be.
Edit---- give cryptic a ticket and explain the tracer t tests and ask what to do when the nettest fails.
besure when you run the nettest it is
1. set to run as admin on win7 and vista systems
2. is allowed by your firewall and antivirus
there should be no timeouts on the nettest and values less than 250 in columns 1 and 3 and less than 14 in column 2 likely of increase lag and disconnects.

Look Under Control Panel, System, Device Manager. Should be listed there.

How would I go about performing those tests?
I edited one of my posts with an updated Dxdiag.
Go to http://files.champions-online.com/nettest.exe
Download this file and run it
A command prompt should appear running the test automatically

Unfortunately this is the best I can get where I live at the moment. My speeds have always been this slow since day one and I just got new equipment.
