email changing, anyone know how

I have tried to get this email issue resolve with support but they say it's fixed but it isn't. One of their solutions is the forums so that users may have a fix. This tells me that maybe the user community is better at support than their support is. Pretty sad. All I am trying to do is get my email sent to the proper address. In my profile it is changed but everything goes to my old address even thought I am being told the issue has been resolved. I don't know what their definition of resolved is but I guess it doesn't mean fixed.

I would say that getting an email address changed would be based solely on your ability to show that it is indeed your email, and that it syncs up with your account number.

If you did not go to the Root at the Atari Web site, please click here: http://www.startrekonline.com/

Log In, Then, Click on Support in the Upper Right. With some Lucky Timing, you may be able to Live Chat Support for your problem. (Crosses Fingers)

    Woha!

    Folks:
    • Do not post private communication to the forums - that includes what you are talking about to CS
    • Do not post your RL names!!!
    • Do not post your private email!!!
    • The same goes for all personal data: Phone numbers; addresses and so on!

These are not private boards, the whole of the internets can read what you post here. Posting your personal information here is a really, really bad idea.

If you feel CS could not yet resolve your issue, please respond to the ticket or re-open the topic in a new ticket (unless they fully said you cannot be assisted - that means they would have tried everything else first).

    Thanks all!

*Edith: Please also note that tickets only stay open 72 hours after the team replies, the system automatically closes and resolves the issue is there is no answer from the customer in these three days.

WS, This is a nice Tid Bit of Information I do not recall ever seeing posted before this. I would bet that most players get upset with slow response in ticket process because of this Automatic Closure of Tickets that they think are still active.
