Server not responding!!

I have been patient for the last hour or so, in regards to this issue, and I've had enough.

I've trawled the forums, and there are people who are getting disconnected whilst trying to login, or whilst playing.
I am able to login for about a minute, before I get the message "server not responding".

I can't even create a ticket... this is turning into a joke. Up until this started, I've never had an issue..... If a Dev is around, can someone please flag this?
I'm not the only person with this issue.

Thank you.

I hope this gets fixed soon....i'm a cranky boy without my STO fix...

I had the same issue DEV is WELL aware of this and they are working on a FIX. What you have to do and yea you have about a minute of time is to go into the Game menu, Go into Options an Disable Voice Chat. I did that last night and its been WARP speed every since!
Also when the Client comes up go to Options and Disable On demand patching and get the FULL down load with all the BUG fixes. Don't waste your time looking at Video Drivers. Trust me, thats not the problem!

WOW it works for some and not for others did you try getting all patches and fixes? Also if you want to create a Ticket you can go to Support from the Main Page. http://www.startrekonline.com/ Goto the Support Tab and then go to Get Help TAB from there you will see how to create a Trouble Ticket!

the same thing is happening to me. It's sporadic and will last for an hour or two... then it'll be fine for a couple hours. Seems like a router or routing issue. But I'm not seeing any problem w/ my routing between myself and Cryptic when running a trace route.

Disabling voice chat and on demand updates didn't do anything to fix it.

Every time I've tried to play today I keep having trouble logging on. I'm getting Server Not Responding (x.xx) countdowns followed by "Discounnected from Server" I'm having no other connectivity issues on the Intarwebs. I've tried exiting the game client, restarting Windows, peroformed a shutdown, reset my router and cable modem, etc. This affected me for a while this morning/early afternoon, Then I logged off to do other things, now trying again this evening and the problem has returned. I have trouble logging on, changing maps, etc.

    I opened tkt #1,151,700.

For the record I had already have turned off voice and in-game patching.

    :(

Game is unplayable for me atm because of this. Was fine until a couple of days ago so doubt it is my router etc.

Even so, run a tracert, reboot your modem and router, and then run another tracert for giggles. Also, pay attention to where the pings are lagging. It may not be you, but it may not be on Cryptic's end, either.

That being said, sometimes, modems and routers receive so many bad packets, they choke. Some programs are more sensitive to these issues than others. I found that VPN clients and Cryptic-produced games are very twitchy when there is a "clog in the drain," so to speak.
