Is no one having this problem? I know it's not just me, cause my internet is fine as long as I'm not playing. I tried hooking my computer up straight to the modem and it still does the same thing.
Only thing I'm getting is the issue that came with this build on tribble and that's the gameserver timing out my character is getting loaded into a map after signing in
I am also having this problem some how it is disabling my cable modem! I have confirmed this with my ISP provider! I thought I was having problems as well with my ISP but its the game I have ran several test! I did a complete down load of all patches in the problem is still there!
I also had to disable the Vivox voice chat altogether in order to solve the very same problem of rebooting my cable modem. Other threads have posted about this issue, and this seems to be the fix of consensus. What in the world the newly-acquired Vivox technology is doing to internet routing devices is beyond me; I'm just glad I have a workaround and I can play S4!
Disabling Vivox does not solve the problem I still only get 10-15 miins of lagging play and server not responding before my internet connection disconnects, this has only happened since S4 launched on Triobble and Holodeck.
I thnk this problem is only now coming to the fore front on the forums as more players are having the problems as S4 now on Holodeck and as the internet disconnects I bet many people thought it was an ISP / Router problem, but no definately something up with the game.
The only things that I could think of is to troubleshoot, by bypassing your router. Go directly from your modem to your PC if possible. Update your ethernet drivers. If you can't bypass your router, you could try disabling the firewall or forwarding necessary ports. Other than that, it's looking like a game issue.
