Hey, I have a problem when I'm holding down and dragging the right mouse button to move the camera.
Quite often, when I right click and hold down the button, the cursor will re-click one or multiple times. This can happen almost right after I clicked the button, or sometimes I will get a very delayed (10-60 sec) version of this where the cursor reappears as if the button has been release when I'm still pushing it.
I have noticed this problem alot more frequently when I'm on the ground than when I'm in space. The issue itself is, in my opnion, quite gamebreaking since it often causes me to start shooting at something when I'm just trying to turn, and it has caused me to targeted group members and open the context menu in the middle of a fight. I think I first started to notice the issue after the June 16 patch, but during the last few days it has become totally unplayable.
Btw, this only happens with the right mouse button; never with the left.
Mouse: Razer Naga
OS: Windows 7 64bit SP1
MB: Asus Rampage III Extreme
If you can, i would try another mouse temporarily to see if it is the Naga. A PS/2 mouse is going to have a little better response as there are fewer hoops needed for it to send a signal than a USB device.
However, that being said, I have even used a TCP/IP connected mouse without a problem, at least as far as the mouse buttons go.
I am having this same issue both with my Naga and my Naga Epic. It is driving me crazy cause I hold down my right mouse button a lot! It isn't just a problem in STO either. Wonder what it is about the Naga. Really hope it is fixable cause I am too used to the thumb grid to downgrade.
