post the info from a dxdiag on your system
also some programs like teamviewer will crash the game so do a clean reboot and be sure you do not have nay extra programs running.

Yes sure. When i log into the game it does like a quick patch over then a box pops up asking me if i want to load the game in low standerds, or default standerds. Once i click the low one so it not asking too much (but i have also clicked the other one) it goes to a full screen and then it loads the Cryptic and Atari page then when it goes to the Star fleet logo where its blue it crashes completeley. I cannot do Ctrl + Alt + Del, move the mouse nothing. The computer completely crashes. I have played other games and the computer runs fine. and nothing else is running in the back ground. What are the most common programs that can crash it. How can i find the info from a dxdiag on your system? and i cannot get it to reboot. I have to force it to close by terning the power off and i have left it to see if it would pick up but nothing. What should i do?

dxdiag report , select start then the run prompt and enter dxdiag.exe and then click ok(or run)

when the dxdiag window apears click on the save all information button lower right as a text file.

I noticed that most of your hardware drivers are dated back as 2007. Have you tried updating all of the drivers installed on your system? I also noticed that you are using integrated graphics, which may be below the minimum specs needed to run the game.

    Unfortunately you problem is this:
Card name: SiS Mirage 3 Graphics
    Manufacturer: Silicon Integrated Systems Corp.
    Chip type: SiS672 series
    DAC type: Internel
    Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_6351&SUBSYS_11251734&REV_10
    Display Memory: 312 MB
    Dedicated Memory: 248 MB
    Shared Memory: 64 MB

You card does not have the hardware capability to run STO (and I'm quite familiar with old SIS cards.) If your system can handle (IE has a PCI-E slot avalable); you'd need to go out and purchase a cpmpatable Nvidia or ATI card, and install it. Until you do that STO won't run.
