I thought of both of these, but mostly Rock'em Sock'em Robots.
Also, are the robots AI-controlled or remote controlled? Is Hugh Jackman's character fighting through the robot or is he "training" the robot Rocky-style (does that make Hugh Jackman Burgess Meredith)? I'll probably see it. I've gone to see films with less promise. Maybe I'll be surprised or maybe it'll be something my friends and I can laugh about later (in a "can you believe they made that piece of blank" way).
Well, I didn't like the story much the first time, when it was called Over the Top and starred Sylvester Stallone. I doubt it will be made any better by adding robots.
I'll be waiting for the movie channels, if I decide to watch it at all.

Mostly, I'm excited because it reminds me of a game I used to play that I loved: One Must Fall 2097
Get off my lawn!
*shakes Zimmer frame menacingly*.... "young whipper snappers..."

As long as Uwe Boll is not involved...
