So, I was walking around a used book store (I commonly go to look for some of the old Trek reference books after I found a Next Gen Tech Manual,)

And after grabbing a copy of Mr Scott's guide to the Enterprise, I found a copy of the Judgement Rites Collectors Edition with almost everything sealed for $15, is this a good deal?

(As a side note, I am a younger fan which is why I don't have a lot of the old Trek books, got into it like 5 or 6 years ago and been hooked since. :D )

That is a great old DOS game. It was the sequel to 25th anniversary. They're the best ST games I had ever played until this one came along. While I would buy it at 15 bucks, I don't think it would work. For the collectible value, it's probably not worth much. But it can be found online for download on abandonware sites. I've found that one and 25th anniversary, along with several other great old games.

I suppose it would if you have a DOS emulator program you can run it through. That game is seriously old, 1992 or so. I remember it VERY fondly though, and I replayed it and 25th anniversary just about 2 years ago. They were just as fun as I remember.

I would suggest trying to find 25th anniversary as well, it can be found for download. It works in DOSBOX. The stories of the two games are REALLY closely intertwined.

Thanks for the advice, I like a lot of the old Trek games.

Most of the ones I own are late 90's, early 2000's (Elite Force ftw, Bridge Commander :D )

NP....I hope it works, and I hope you enjoy it. I think the game has the closest "feel" to The Original Series of all the ST games I've played (which is a LOT).
