I created a Facebook page for my character as a joke. I spent a couple hours in character *****ing about the Remans and making other in-character Facebook-y posts.

I'll be off and on there as I play the game. Go ahead and "friend me" but remember when I'm on there I'm in character... so I'll be a tad amusing.

Just search for Damia Ranora.

:D

    Probably because it's against Facebook's TOS to create pages using false names, fictional characters, and other assumed identities.

    Second Life users have been running afoul of that rule for years.

    Actually it's a grey area. and only enforced when some little weasel whines.

    I'm not on Facebook enough as it is to really know this. Don't particulary care for those types of sites that want your name as the display name or for information for that matter. I'm not comftorable with posting my name on them at all and would rather use a nickname/fictional character name for myself to be honest.

    I couldn't be bothered to make one for my toons so I just use my real Facebook page. I believe I've already insulted Marie's age again from it. :P I remember seeing Zero's toons Facebook once upon a time but it did seem to disappear without ever responding to my friend request. Keeping your personal information to yourself though is very wise so that's completely understandable that you play it safe.

    I don't worry about it. I learned from high school basketball that I get picked last for everything. Sucks trying to find a girl, but works pretty good in terms of being a victim. :rolleyes:

    Oh <insert female dev name here>,

    Whenever you write, you make my heart flutter;
    hoping to the fates that you don't think me a nutter.

    Warmth fills my cheeks when you send your gentle keystrokes;
    Thoughts swirls in my mind, not certain what it evokes.

    Every morning I wake, begging fate for a note;
    Eagerly I jump to my screen to see what you wrote.

    Sometimes I feel forgotten, cast aside and ignored;
    But that's okay, I'll always wait until you're bored.

    I think that's nice.. I didn't do it for facey. I think it was some software Registration ..

    So my old ALt name is getting Timeshare brochures and probably has a better credit score then me..

    It was so popular during one period it was getting more Mail order bride spam then me...

    Had a Naval Security Agent Contact it. asking why it was interested in the US DOD Naval Special Operations Command.

    Yay and the dog received a Birthday card and a credit card AP after the vets data base was compromised. .

    Moral is don't get too fond of those social sites you don't ADMIN Security for. I caught our old Web site for the fleet putting MAlware on us.
