Anyone know of a good recording program I can use to record my progress with STO?

The one I'm using now is HyperCam2. :) It works great when recording video, but, concerning the audio, I have to have the master volume jacked up to 100% and, even then, it's choppy. :(

Anyone know of a good video program I can download that will record great video and audio? It doesn't have to be free, but a low price (less than $30, preferably) would be very good.

Thanks, everyone! Live Long and Prosper!

    FRAPS, plain and simple.

You can also use the demorecord tool, though you won't have the UI in it (but you can do dramatic videos and set up your own camera work).

    Thanks! :)

I downloaded FRAPS, though I'm having a small issue using it.

I opened the program and I hit both the video record hotkey and the screenshot hotkey, but neither show up in their respective folders. Am I doing something wrong?

Again, thanks so much for the suggestion! :)

You may need to change them; if I remember correctly, they're both the same key.

    Thanks :)

Okay, well, I changed the keys; this is the new setup:

    the Benchmarking Hotkey is F!
    The Overlay Hotkey is F2
The Video Capture Hotkey is F3
    The Screenshot Hotkey is F4

Though I tried it and it still won't record or capture screenshots. :(

There's also one other thing I'm confused about. When I close the program, it says "Exiting Fraps will stop the counter being shown in your games. Are you sure you want to unload Fraps?"

I get the first sentence, but what do they mean by "unload"?

Again, everybody, thanks so much for all the help! :) I'm sure it'll work...eventually. lol

Ignore it. It's just to say you can't use it if it closes.
