Hi I'm haveing some problems with my screenshots when ever I take a screenshot on STO or CO they always end up a bit too dark and find it hard to see them

    It's due to the in-game gamma slider, I'd suspect.

    I'd adjust your graphics settings from the desktop, rather than fiddle with game-specific gamma or brightness settings (Quake 3 games did this a lot).

    i had a similar thing. adjusting my desktop gamma fixed it right up.

    do you know where it's located on the pc?

    You can right click on the Windows desktop and click either on the Nvidia Control Panel or the ATI Catalyst Control Panel option, afaik.

    I'm not too sharp on ATI products anymore: I haven't used one since the early 2000s.

    Once you get into either control panel though, it'll probably be listed in an area called "adjust desktop color settings"

    it may be under graphics or display or something along those lines.

    everyone's is different but look in those general areas.
