hi, could you please tell me how these laptop's would perform while playing Star Trek Online, please dont link me to the system reqiuerment page, my main concern is the Intel HD grahphic's chipset.
as above the acer but the graphics card is the limiting factor on all 3 laptops
this game simply requires a more powerfull graphics card for anything above med settings
i got a dell mini netbook to run it...but it looked like a slide show on the extreem low settings...so I think any new laptop will play it, but it depends on what you call "playing" like if you were just idling to get the needed hours for the tribble reward...or buying something on sale cause you cant from the web or what ever..

Unless your buying a beyond top-of-the-line laptop, the best you can hope for would be medium settings. If you want to run on High, you need a desktop with a strong (at least 1Gb) video card. (You could probably find a laptop that will run on High, but it will likely be VERY expensive premium laptop.)

thanks, how would the acer run STO on low/med settings? (frames per second?)

If anything, i'd go with the aspire. The game will prob run on low-medium. It wont look pretty but it will run.
