Banana pancakes in his pocket!

I'm sure someone must of posted a thread about this sometime in the past but as a relative noob to STO I thought I would share something that really made me LOL.

After a life and death struggle with fierce Klingon warriors, we search for anything that might help us in our next struggle. After sorting through various items that are now broken beyond repair we find the only two things of value...

Banana pancakes

and

a pouch of Fancy feast (feline suppliment)

I sat and laughed at the very thought of this zany development. Who keeps pancakes in their pocket and I'm betting the cat food was really Purina Targ chow

So what crazy drops have made you laugh in STO?

Pretty much any food drop makes no sense in STO, unless we always launch attacks mid-replicator use.

It's what happens when you're still standing in line for chow when the enemy attacks!

No food, boot, even your bat'leth is getting fat and nasty!

I think it would be interesting to carry Gagh in your pocket.

They'd die during your first roll or lunge attack. Gagh is always better when it's still alive.

Is that a banana pancake in your pocket, or are you just happy to... oh! It is a banana pancake. Nevermind...

    Awkward! Awkward!

Run away! (this thread is getting 10 Forward silly but the food drops mechanic on many species is silly)

It would be fun while it lasted.

Gagh drops might contribute to a hearty diet for Targ breeding. Just saying' to the devs - can't have little fed fuzz balls getting all the fun.

Man, that poor klink probably lost his pet and he was just getting a feline supplement to feed it.

Those little fuzz balls purr and vibrated when you pet them. I carry one in a few pockets.

Yeah, what would make more sense to me are energy drops and then actually placing replicators on most or all ground maps that we can use as a store.

In general, I think stores on mission maps, some with special inventories or rare items that have a chance of being offered would add a LOT.

Apparently, the title of this thread seemed so absurd to the mods, they assumed it was off topic for STO.

That says something about how wacky it is, right there, if the mods can't even believe it's STO-related.

How else is my crew going to eat?

Seriously though, I have a Tellarite and just for fun I have them eat any food drop I find. Seems so in character.

Romulan Ale and a Jumbo Mollusk on a Tactical Drone.

Mopa Bread or Jumja sticks on a Cardassian.

    Kanaar on a Bajoran.

Got a Cardassian's banana split before. I can picture the scene.

Cardassian: No! I can't dodge fast enough or else my banana split will fall on the ground! NOOO! Phaser hit!
Me:Mmmm, free banana split. Glad this Spoonie was carrying this. Not only was he easier to hit because he wasn't trying to take cover but I get a free banana split.

Borg drop: A scroll entitled "How to Make Friends and Assimilate People."

Klingon drop: Deoderant. They weren't going to use it anyway.

Ferengi drop: A small coin purse. Holds two items.

Xindi drop: a pair of levi's and insecticide.
