That FYI..Kirk was always such a thief..all the green chics and taking things from any source-like
when all the children who had just come from back from a wonderfull adventure....
...and they asked if they would see him again. . ".where do you live", , ,
He pointed up to the sky and said " Out there..2nd star on the right and straight on 'til morning ! "
...as he flew away ,they said " Thank you, Peter Pan ! " ...
I just thought people should know all the facts since so many seem to be naming ships & fleets and
having all this supposed 'Star Trek' stuff in sigs about where something actually came from. .;)
The fact what he said was from Peter Pan was no secret. In fact, it could be Kirk finally coming to terms with the common thread throughout the movies (sans TMP and FF) of Kirk having to deal with his age. Even before the battle with Chang, Kirk and Spock are discussing if they are too old to do this stuff anymore. By Kirk making that statement at the end of TUC, he is proclaiming that regardless of what happens he will always be young.
