In light of a recent milkshake experiment involving Country Time pink Lemonade and vanilla ice cream, what are some of Ten Forward's favorite drink combinations and how are they made?

There was this one time some friends and I were little. We took some Milk added some Mountain Dew and Coffee Creamer, some Pickle Juice, and Caramel Syrup for good measure. The Milk instantly curdled and it smelled rancid, tasted even worse. Then when I was even younger and didn't know how things worked I tried making Chocolate Milk by combining Mud and Cat Poo.... point is my childhood taught me that making "drink combinations" is bad, so no, I do not have any favorites :p

    Waste:

grab yourself 20 - 40 green pixie stix (do not use orange, it won't disolve), a bottle of Jolt cola, and a friend.

pour the pixie stix into the jolt cola*

*Warning the mixture will imediately begin to fizz, so you will need to quickly cap the jolt before the bottle overflows (This is where the friend comes in handy. Also you will not be able to pour the entire first pixie stix before it overflows trust me.)

Shake the capped mixture vigorously every once in a while to make sure the powdered sugar disolves properly.

Anyone who has tasted this concoction has either loved it or hated it.

The liquified souls of small children

7-up with a shot of tomato juice. It tastes alright if you don't use too much tomato juice. If made correctly the tomato juice will float on top of the 7-up and look really cool when stirred in.

Probably not what you were looking for, but here's my contribution. :D

    Vodka-aide

    Ingredients needed:
    Gallon jug
Two packs of lemonade flavored Kool-aide
    Three cups sugar
    Bottle of vodka. Everclear recommended
    Two blue freezie pops

Pour the sugar and lemonade packets into the gallon jug. Add vodka until the jug is almost full. Stir vigorously until the sugar and lemonade is dissolved, then add the two freezie pops. Proceed to wonder what monstrous creation you have created.

Yes, this is exactly what it looks like. Lemonade Kool-aide, only replacing the water with alcohol. The freezie pops are just there to add to the flavor. :D I made this when I turned 21, and couldn't see straight for 2 days.

I'm gonna go ahead an toss out my accidental fermented beverage I created a few years ago:

    Gatorade Glazier Freeze powder mix
    Propel Strawberry-Kiwi drink mix
    quart bottle
    water
    green food coloring (I think)

Mix enough Glacier Freeze powder for 1 quart, and 2 of the propel packets together in the quart bottle with water, shake, add food coloring, shake, and let sit for about 1-2 weeks unrefrigerated.

I've never tried this after the first accidental attempt so I don't know if this works. This is best as I remember.

Ravegirl!?! Did you go blonde?

Drinks? Oh, right.... I like to do variations on teas or hot chocolate. These involve flavored coffee creamer, lemon juice, and/or honey. I just started drinking tea this year, so I haven't gotten too ambitious with it yet.

Like all I drink is fruit juice, milk, water, and lots and lots of tea.

    Currently digging red tea.

    "Overkill Coffee"

    One 12 oz cup
    12 teaspoons sugar
    Five oz Hot Chocolate
Five oz coffee of your choice
Vary the amounts to accomodate creamer/additives for personal taste.

Healthy? Heck no. But it helps when running up on 24+ hours (without sleep, that is)

Of course, there's always milk tea, which is easy to make.

Tea, milk/half and half, plus sugar to taste depending on personal preference.

Bubbles are optional. Never did like those tapioca pearls - they taste like really soft, chewy/sticky rubber balls.

    Cave Johnson, we're done here.
