My entire life people have made fun of the fact that when I type I hit the spacebar with my left thumb. I never understood why I did it. But I just realized why. In every PC game I have ever played, my right hand is always on the mouse. And so it became habit to hit the spacebar with my left thumb because it was the only one on the keyboard. And I guess that finally carried over to my typing.
Not really all that significant, but interesting to me this morning.

. . . . Who the heck would notice that? I'd make fun of a person for being lame enough to see that. Besides, isn't it wide so you can do just that? I don't get it.
When I was in high school (many moons ago), the computer keyboard we used had a split spacebar. That way they could tell if you are "typing correctly" as deemed by the useless Mac program we were using. I was always marked off for hitting the spacebar with my left hand. Apparently, it is "proper" to hit it with your right hand.
Hmm... never learned to type, not really. I just chat with online friends and play games a lot. Though, my method isn't "hunt and peck" exactly, since I don't look at the keyboard, my hands do tend the go all over the place.
Luckily, I type just slightly faster than I spell, so it works out alright, I suppose.
Looks like I use my right thumb for El Bar de la'Space.

Pluck out all your feathers, rip out your own gizzards, and dive head first into a hot oven?

That reminds me, I have a game hen I need to get out of the fridge and prepare for lunch.

(Spell Checker FTW, by the way.)
