Greetings all!

Recently, there has been talk on the forums of wanting a 25th Century version of the Kelvin (from the 2009 Star Trek movie) and the Oberth-class starship. So went ahead and drew up some designs, one of each.

25th Cenutry Oberth-class Science Ship: Goddard-Class Starship

25th Century Kelvin-type Starship: Percival-Class Starship

Please let me know what you think!

Interesting designs. Of course, we know the Oberth is coming, and for the Kelvin to come into the game Paramount will have to give its okay. ;)

But these are not bed "substitutes" in the meantime.

    Not bad. :)

Maybe Cryptic can use the Goddard-Class as an optional skin for the Oberth. :D:cool:

The Oberth can already be seen patrolling around K-7. Those aren't bad concepts for optional skins though now that you have presented them Cryptic can't use them. :D

Yeah, I'm fully aware of the Oberth model being snuck in. I can see lots of people buying the Oberth just for that new console. ;)

But because I shown the designs to everyone doesn't mean Cryptic couldn't use them. If they are interested in someone's designs, they simply buy the copyrights and we take them offline as part of the deal.

Hey, bought the Prometheus retrofit for the console. Tore it out of the new ship and put it in my old Cerberus. Works like a charm. :D

Out of curiosity, what console are they including with the Oberth?

They still have to get CBS' approval, though.

The Kelvin is the most ugly Star Trek ship I have ever seen. Sorry, I am voting soundly against any variation of that.

Your Oberth looks pretty nice though.

We were told its like the Red Matter Capacitor, but instead its just Shields and Auxillary.
