...or how to confuse new players with the entrance to the Captain's Table.
I know the Captain's Table in a sore point with a lot of people (for many reasons - see all the other various posts), but for me the biggest problem is the graphic they used to designate the entryway - the big ball of glowing space gas.
Really?
Wouldn't it make more sence to make it a space station or some such? To be honest, in systems that already have space station/bases (like Earth and Qo'nos) it should just be a door inside that structure.
As I said there are plenty of other issues with the Capatins Table, but the the gas ball entrance is just the tip of the confusion and annoyance. When (if?) the dev team gets around to making this 'feature' better, this has got to be one of the first things to go.

I think its funny that the Captains Table is accessable through a glowing ball of gas.
Of course I always assumed it was some kind of worm hole.
The Captain's Table exists outside of regular space-time or something. That is how all the different era personnel can interact. I also thought of it as a subspace pocket or the wormhole equivalent of a cul-de-sac.
(For those who do not know, it is based on a series of soft canon stories that suppose a place where all the characters from the various shows could meet up and exchange stories, like Callahan's Crosstime Saloon.)
Not sure if there's been a new set about the Captain's Table, but I remember it being accesable via a ground doorway as well. Nothing like walking into a bar in teh Delat Quadrant and interacting with folks from Alpha wuadrant.:D
Ok..help...seriously. I have been active for 400 days. Got the captains yahgt ages ago...before my game card said 400 days...I have active since BETA...but cannot enter the captains table. How do I do it?
There is nothing on Cstore to grant me access...looked at every section of it....and I cant fly into that nebula..I just pass through it with no option to enter?

I'd like them to modify it and make it accessible via Starfleet Academy (whenever they get it done). That way you can go in there and get special items available only to Lifers and vets. Maybe a crafting system where you can build "Unique" items.
I like the idea forwarded in a recent STOked episode: make it accessible via a door in any of the bars at the various starbases or through the holodecks of your ships.
