I've seen one about 10 years back, sadly digicams werent as widespread back then or i would have taken a pic. *hmpf damn you timing!*
Ever since i try to find an explenation what it could have been, none of the UFO reports (TV and whatever) i've seen come even close and i have no idea what possibly it could have been.
All i've seen where orange lights, shaped like windows on the underside of a Saucer, probably twice the diameter of a Helicopter. Clearly flying but very low, more like hovering above ground.
2 *windows* were visible at all times and it was slowly spinning when one *window* disapeared on the left the next one turned up on the right, it appeared as if it had 3 *windows* total (maybe 4, but i think 3).
I have no idea if these lights were "windows", could be propulsion systems or headlights or anything...
The word "Windows" just gives you the right idea for the shape.
It was late afternoon and i could not see anything arround the lights or any shape beyond the light itself, all was just pure BLACK.
I heard no engine sound coming from it and i don't know any flying machine Humans ever build that makes no Sound at all and can fly so slow (Helicopter would have been LOUD, Zeppelin would be to big... a Balloon could not carry an object that size...).
It was steadily slowly flying left behind a House that blocked my view and then ...nothing, it did not come out on the other side of that house anymore and i was sitting there for at least an hour!
I was afraid to go outside and look behind the house because i would have needed to get my shoes and stuff and in that time it could fly away and i would miss it... but nothing! It did not come out again and there was no way to go!
Since then i try to find out what this could have been and never came across anything that could explain this.
I know you have no reason to believe me, i have no proof of anything, just my word that i'm not trolling ;P
So... tell me your story's if you have any and if anyone has an idea what i could have seen... any ideas would be appriciated.
You sure you weren't looking at an F-117? It's a very oddly shaped, has windows that look like they've been tinted orange in some lights, and are surprisingly quiet for such a large aircraft. Alternatively, it could have been a U-2 "Dragonlady," which can look like it's moving fairly slow; though why it would be flying low is anyone's guess. Or the military could have been testing a new UAV. *shrug* Can't say myself.
I was thought I saw a UFO over I295 one time. Turned out it was a A-10 Thunderbolt coming in for a landing at a nearby airbase.
I thought I did see one. Just once, over my friends house. Three white orbs were hovering over head and seemed to move around in formation before the centre one vanished without a trace, it moved soo fast. The other two quickly followed but I cant explain nor prove what I saw
I want to believe they exist. Seriously...how arrogant are we to believe the universe is devoid of life, and was made just for us insignificant little humans of this tiny planet in ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha that has been deemed "Mostly Harmless"?
Never saw any huge silver phallics with bright lights floating in the air then dart off at impossible speeds....
In the realm of the Paranormal...I've not seen much, but I have experienced some unexplainable things. Just not enough evidence either way to say WHAT they were exactly...
Remember...Paranormal is not hauntings or ghosts....It really is just something not normal or out of the ordinary...
And UFO is exactly an "Unidentifed Object"...Could cover anything that has not been identified. Also called a Bogie. I have seen some initially unidentified flying objects...but I attribute them to either me being drunk, or my eyes playing tricks on me. (aka Matrixing)
I have seen many UFOs, ie many things flying that I did not know what they were. I assumed they were planes flying at odd angles or hot air balloons or whatever. Never have I seen something that made me think 'Aliens are here!'

The only thing you could argue to doubt the whole UFO thing, is why would an Alien race or Races (or a conglomoration) with the ability to travel through space/time/reality come all the way here to our little blue rock? It must be for something more then abducting cows or anally probing red neck hicks
Or, they could be pretty smart and realize that segment of the population wouldn't be believed anyway...
You know, I never thought of it that way. That makes total sense. I remember one Star Trek novel where at the begining of the book, before the real plot started, the crew of the TOS Enterprise discovered Academy Students on break from the academy messing with the heads of people from planets not yet contacted by The Federation (Prime Directive and all that)
Well that... I guess. So why hasnt Dawson or Hort been abducted
Who are you going to believe? A scientist with more degrees to his name than a small university or a toothless guy who thinks being on unemployment is another name for an extended paid vacation?
They won't abduct me because I own a gun. And if Star Trek has taught us anything it's that energy beams cause no damage unless you wear red.
Up until this morning, my avatar was wearing red. Oh and this saturday I am doing a Zobie vs Survivors pub crawl in aid of charity, and Ill be dressed asa red shirt

i don't think that the Frankfurt Airport has any active F-117's ^^
also with flying low and slow i mean realy like... hovering 50 - 75meters over the ground and maybe flying at 5-10kmh (it did hide behind a 4 stories tall building after all...)
oh and just for the record i wasn't drugged or haluzinating, i wanted to watch X-Files but i even missed the stupid episode thx to that thing!
the only thing i realy don't get is with all the UFO sightings in the past, where are they all now?
Every schmock has a Digicam in his Handy now, where are all the jpegs and png's of current sightings 'n stuff?

i do seen one hovering over my house and i was outside in backyard looking at it.
it was flying at treetop level, moving so slow, the craft had White 16 lights and that craft was shaped like this: ▲ and it was very huge, it has be at least the size of Defiant and it stopped in midair, just hovering over my house and the lights underneath, turned red and the craft started to move banking left, heading upwards, BAM! it zoomed out towards Space suddenly in blink of eye. the craft was gone.
it was awesome althrough.
First off I do believe there is life far from our little blob in space. I mean... there has to be more then just us in the universe.. or it be alot of empty space :P
Anyways moving on. Have I seen a UFO... yes several.
I live some where on vancouver island, british columbia canada. I guess I was around the age of 13. And my mother had to go on course (rcmp). So it was just me and my grandmother. It was a pretty warm night outside, and my step father at the time was in the military. Had alot of military goodies in the garage. So I figured id grab some glow sticks and play around in the back yard.
So as I was playing around in the dark I just felt the need to look up and stare.. As I stared at the night sky, I noticed these 3-4 dots slowly moving through the stars in the sky. I was always taught that if you think your seeing things move in the sky.. is to blink once and then relook. So I did and continued to notice them moving through the night sky. As I watched they began to go faster and faster, and almost dance. They twirled and circled each other and went all over all crazy like.
As I watched I had an idea.. why not get my step dads diving light. Now Iam not sure if you all know but diving lights are pretty darn bright. And they have straight beams..instead of wide beams like other flash lights. So I came back outside with this beasty light and began to shine the light on the UFO's. As I followed the ufo's with the dive light on them, they began to act... odly. One of them darted off to the top of the mountain which was right behind the house. We kinda lived on the side of it. The other two pretty much stoped and stayed togeather. Now as I watched the one at the top of the mountain it began to flash different colors.. I.. being so young and being playfull.. began to flash my light off and on. After a few moments of doing that.... it began to come along the side of the mountain towards to house.. (still not being a smart kid I continued and even done abit more) I used the glow sticks which were green/blue/red and layed them on the lawn almost like a heli pad. After that began to flash the dive light at the incoming light/ufo. As it began to come closer and closer, my heart started to pump faster. It came to almost the top of the tree's behing my yard.. still abit of a distance from me but not that far. I then.. began to panic and rushed back into the house, grandmother watching tv.. not even noticing what is going on behind the house, and she see's me rush in and goes whats the matter? I run passed her and didnt say anything. I got into my room and rushed under the blankets.
I later with some courage lol, peeped out of my blinds and looking behind the house... the light was still there. I looked at it for abit and noticed the tree's swaying abit. Not sure if it was windy, not that it was when I was out. I continued to watch the light and then finally just got tooo scared and went under my blankets. I fell asleep and woke the next morning. My mother returned home earlier in the morning and found the dive light outside and the glow sticks and asked me why i left them out. I didnt say nothing and just said i was playing around and forgot about them..later getting in trouble because the dive light is very expensive
So theres my encounter with a UFO... never will I do that again.
but ive seen ball lightning a few times and they can be freaky, sharp 90 degree turns and pass through objects and most of them seem to explode when they disappear.
Two actually, quite a few years ago, was early morning, waiting for the bus. I lived in the middle of [word redacted] nowhere, so there was no one around for quite literally miles and I looked up in the sky and saw two bright, white crescent shaped objects almost dancing around each other. Called my mom and sister out to see them, so they both saw them as well. The eventually just sort of faded from view.
Sadly, I've never seen an actual UFO. I've only seen them in TV or youtube, but I really wish I could see a real one in the future. Everytime I look up the sky, I always get disappointed finding out that it was only an airplane or helicopter. I really do want to believe that aliens exists, because I don't want to think that Earth is the only planet with life. Space is pretty big, so there has to be some form of intelligent life out there!

ps...sorry for the massive wall text :P
If I were you, I would have done the exact same thing. Then when I looked out the window and it was still there, I would have p issed myself 15 times. I would never have slept that night.
As for my UFO experiences, sadly I have none. I do believe in them though. It would be ignorant to think we are the only intelligent life in the galaxy, let alone the universe.
Why would they come here? Based on everything Hollywood has taught us the aliens have to know we are going to shoot first and ask question later. Every time we try to be diplomatic, it bites us in the a$$. (Independence Day, Mars Attacks, War of the Worlds, etc)

Three white lights in a triangle, one red dot in the middle.
It flew low, it flew fast, and it was 100% silent.
The silence was by far the most eerie thing about it.
You know, I never thought of it that way. That makes total sense.

It's obviously the naiive, clumsy personality I have that shrounds my genius.
Saw an F117 once, nearly had a heart attack. Fear Factor would be the phrase, even with it on my side as it were.

Prey for me
Enjoy yourself. Which charity?
And you would too.
That's all the universe needs....Raven...with an alien spaceship....The thought actually scares me.....

Cloaking device....
F-117 was retired in 2008 so no, they would not have any.
