Well, I think i secured my position as the biggest geek I know, because I just got the Collectors Edition of STO (quite cheaply too). I also just finished the tutorial on the character I started in the demo.
I'm hoping to find many friends though STO, though this isnt going to be my main MMO (at least atm, im playing RIFT as well), but I just cant pass up the Star Trek Universe.
Just a question, how active is it during Aussie times?

Well hope to meet some of you in game
Welcome to Ten Forward, the mad-house (alternatively, the sanest place) of the forums! Bacons over there, coffee's thataway and the castles of Empress Ravenstein and Priestess Capulet behind you.
You're asking the wrong group, in reality. In fact, there's not many Europeans here either.
Aussie times are well-known for having hte least ammount of players online, which is why they always seemingly take down the server at those times for patching.

And I hope we can see you ingame!
Being an Australian, I certainly know what it's like during our peak-time - it's rather quiet and empty, lol. Although, I prefer it like that in-game.
I'd love for you to join the fleet I'm in, Galactic Star League. It currently has at least 3 Australians in it. We'd love more Aussies!
